People say this was a game of missed chances, but I would say it was also a game of missed assist opportunities that would ha ripped Tottenham to shreds if they were made, but future teams playing against Arsenal will not be so lucky. I think this is the first game with Sterling starting the game on the right in the 1st team Premier League Arsenal line up and he looked menacing to the Tottenham defense right through to the point you could feel a sense of relief they had when he was subbed to put more emphasis on solidifying the defense of the one goal lead. The only thing saving them from his lethal ability to find space in dangerous areas in the box as we saw in this game and used to see him do at Man City was the fact he is new to playing with the players he was on the pitch with and the fact first time they had played with him on the right, so they did not notice what he was doing and the Tottenham defense had no idea what to do about him, but hope his Arsenal team mates did not notice it. It was on a different level, amazing football intelligence, a lesson on movement and the use of space, undefendable and like watching the great Barcelona team attacks if Sterling's team mates could see it and take advantage. What is for sure is that when the Arsenal coaches asses the game on video they will see it and alert the rest of his team mates who will not make the same mistake next time and get Sterling the ball at the right moment and there will be hell to pay for future opponents in the coming games. Defenses in future games will be ripped to shreds with this new weapon or component of attack added to the other components of an already dangerous Arsenal attack. Be warned of what is coming from this Arsenal attack and it is pretty scary. Great stuff and great win. Peace and love
Feeling for the guy but what do spurs do Ange is a top manager and will probably go on to more success than spurs who takes over if he goes will still have same squad dressing room should take a long hard look at themselves
Evidence Ange being a top manager please. Australian clubs, Australian age groups, Socceroos (who had top European players when he coached & a home - hosted Asian Cup final), Japan tier two club level like Australia & of course he did what every Celtic coach has always done in that one-club Scottish league.
@@solo6string the game was littered with howling defensive errors by Spurs, and spurned scoring opportunities by Arsenal. It was a poor game by both sides. They've both played far better.
Any other manager would have had his marching orders. It’s only Ange’s charm, wit, repartee, great bloke persona that keeps him in his job. Ange required extra time to struggle past non-league Tamworth in the FA Cup! Has lost 11 EPL matches, won 7 drawn 3 & Spurs are in a lowly 13th! On a level playing field, all things being fair, on any given day he would be sitting second in the EPL. Yeah, great coach, just who he is mate! Top tier coach, stick with the out of his depth manager. It’s cheaper & easier for Levy.
The only one out of their depth is unrealistic "fans" who whose expectations are unrelaistic and bordering on delusional. You really have no idea and just jump to the usual shallow narratives being trotted by the idiot press and pundits.

New manager isn’t the answer. We have injuries and need the club to back Ange in the transfer market. Letting Ange go will be the biggest mistake we could make.
I'm a Gooner4Life and you're an idiot. Ange is a quality manager. Half your team is injured, you need new players in key positions, and boys need to put in a shift. Have you learned nothing about endlessly sacking your manager?

Ange is a top manager 😂😂😂
He’s absolute shite and I hope he stays at Spurs forever
I'm Ange in... but, at 1-0 and just before half time, why bomb both full backs up? When Bissouma lost possession, Porro was way up and we conceded.
On a level playing field we would've won that mate.
Dream on
Just what I was thinking, haha. If only Ange had a fair & level playing field & all things were equal blah blah blah.
Can't believe Arteta is saying Arsenal were 'sensational'!! He must have missed the game, both sides were bad, it was not a high quality game at all!
I thought the game was fast, passing instant and great to watch. We all know we need saka back and a striker.. Give the team a break for heavens sake
First half Arsenal were bossing despite the Spurs goal
