Killer Martin guitar. It's really smooth and bassy, they don't make many in that burst, and I agree the authentic series is probably the best guitar they make. Great demo
@@joepayne7843 I think this is only the second authentic from that era that I have played which had a burst. A long time ago we had one of the first ones made, which was constructed in the repair shop. These things are neat man!
WHY I'M A MARTIN GUY!!! WHEN YOU PLAY, OR EVEN HEAR A GREAT MARTIN GUITAR....IT JUST PUTS A HUGE SMILE ON YOUR FACE!!! 😄😄😄 GREAT PLAYING AS ALWAYS SHAWN!!! 👌👌👌
@@Chris-pb4jo man it sure does, this is especially the case when you run across 0% financing 🤣 makes me feel like it is such a good deal I want to get three of them lol.
@@mitzioden4926 man that is awfully kind of you, and I sure appreciate it. Better watch it though, I think you might be unintentionally spreading false information about what I can do 😂
@@lilycat1694 i’m the same way on the earlier baked ones. they aren’t baking them quite as heavy now, and they sound more natural to me, but ultimately these older ones are my favorite in the 18s.
@@ShawnBrockMusicthank you for replying. I really enjoy your videos. I am a Martin guitar fan and recently sold my 2023 D28 standard. Too much money tied up that I needed for other things. It was an incredible guitar. Saving up
Sounds great but these always seemed to have a bit too much bass without enough cut . Beautiful sounding though and reminds a lot of my 06 D-18 Authentic I had a good while back.
@@MrPauljcat man it’s always funny, there are people who absolutely believe that an acoustic guitar can’t have too much bass. I like a nice balance myself, even though it is not the most popular choice for some folks 😂

IF YOU'RE TRYING TO TEMPT ME SIR... YOUR DOING A FINE JOB!!! 🤣🤣🤣
Nice D 18! Of course, Shawn can bring the best tone out of a guitar.

Love it! Wish I could afford one. I would not want a baked one.

What a killer guitar
She's got some ring to her. Nice color.
@@RedEyedPatriot I agree, it’s a pretty nice look man!
I guess I have always been a Martin guy at heart. 😁EE

To come and try the demos
I wish that I had the money
I would love to play one of those ones but I just don't have the money
