Sam it's nice to know how you got started with the excavator. It's nice to watch your videos because you show the mistakes that you make. Most people edit out their mistakes. But keeping it real is so much better. Even if it is really funny at times. GOD Bless
Oh, no problem showing mistakes. Because that's about all I have.😁 Cool thing about that video is a guy from Walmart's hometown came across the channel. He sent a comment saying he knew Walmart and was from Fayetteville. Small world, what are the odds of that?
@@tristardiggin this social media is something. I don't get on nothing but RUclips and I check Facebook to see what my daughter and granddaughters are doing. But this world is getting smaller. And if there had of been RUclips when I was working. You talk about mistakes I would have had a comedy channel.🤣
Yup, very satisfying to take an overgrown piece of land and clean it up. The video on the Redi-Rock retaining wall is one of my favorites. I learned a new project and very satisfying to see it completed... Thanks, Sam
Hi, this is the first time I have watched one of your videos. I found very entertaining. I believe you have a good sense of camera placement, video editing, and content. Keep working hard on your videos. Film everything that you do no matter how you think it is boring for you. Other viewers might think it is unique and worth watching. I have enjoyed this video and have I subscribed to your Channel. I did notice that you do not have a lot of subscribers but I do believe you will continue to gather subscribers as time goes on because you have a good Channel with good content. Good luck with this channel I look forward to more videos like this one.
Thank you very much for the encouragement. I really appreciate it! I have been steadily posting for around 4 months now. It is tough to break through RUclipss algorithms to get the videos in front of people. It takes a lot of views, comments, and help from folks like you to grow a channel. Brandon, from Elite Earthworks, gave me a shout-out on his channel a few days ago, which REALLY helps a channel get noticed when a bigger channel talks about a small channel. So, thank you for subscribing and watching. You are helping the channel grow. Thanks, Sam
Good morning. First time your channel came my way. This is the first video of seen of yours. I liked what you did, and you did it well. I was happy to sub. Now your up to 34 subs. I hope your channel grows the way you hope it does in this new year. Of course hit the thumbs up. 😁 Blessings Ed from Chicago
Ed, thanks for subscribing and watching. Getting a new channel going is tough. Whew! Not sure how some of these guys hit 100,000+ subscribers 🤔. Thanks for making it 34🤪...
Seems to be as good as letsdig18 in content, your message at the end makes it perfect! Your message is in some ways better than a church service,Coming from a working man
Thank you Brian, comparing to Letsdig18 is a big compliment. His channel is huge and been around a long time. Very glad you are enjoying the messages. That is the best part. I appreciate you supporting the channel. God Bless, Sam
My back breathes a sigh of relief watching your ramp raising and lowering system. If you were a northerner I'd call it yankee ingenuity....but since you are a southerner I'll just call it good 'ol ommon sense.
Whew, you are not kidding. When I bought the trailer those things were killing me. If they were to weigh 5 more lbs I could even lift them. 😃 This is what I would call good ole redneck engineering. That's the way I roll...🤪😳 Thanks, Sam
@Tristar Diggin' I love it! A whole other channel idea "makin it work". I herniated a disc this winter, down for over 2 months in agony, how you ask? Toweling off after a shower. Yup, getting older is fun. I am now super observant of things that can either kill or save my back.
Great video. Love the story at the beginning too. I have 5 to 6 acres of old growth pine to clear for pasture and I'm seriously thinking of just buying this exact machine to do it. It seems very capable. BTW, is that a ms362?
Thanks, I appreciate that. The CAT 308 is capable of taking down some pretty good size trees, especially pines. Now that I have been running the 313 for a couple months it's a different ballgame. The saw is a ms271 20" bar. Great little saw for sure. It has cut a lot of wood since I have had it.
Your dumpster? We have dumpster rentals, so nice to have when needed even at home. Dump truck is used most of the time for hauling off debris from a job.
@@tristardiggin I never thought I would so appreciate heavy equipment and dumpsters at my house as a female but I do live in a man's world at my address and it all really helps at the house.
DJI wireless mic. I really like what it has added to the videos. I bought the system with 1 mic and reciever instead of the 2 mic system. It was $219 on Amazon. Worth the investment...

Looks like with time you’ve got that excavator figured out. Don’t look like you have any problems now enjoyed it as always.
Thanks Raymond, you are reaching way back into the archives now!

Wow Sam what a Awesome transformation. It sure is rewarding after all is done.
Thanks, it turned out nice. Best part is seeing the finished product. We'll, getting paid is a good part too! 😃

Thanks Dan. Yup that has been a pretty good bed for Diesel. He loves it too...

Sam like the winching system for the ramps.
Thanks. I couldn't lift them by hand so that's all I could come up with to raise and lower. Been working great for a while now.
