Kickstarter is full of awesome projects and the ones found in this video are not too bad either... the problem is... they already exist and are available cheaper on places such as Aliexpress, Alibaba, TEMU and WISH.
Turns out all ya gotta do is find some cool, unique product, but it in bulk (to get it cheaper) and then rebrand it and make a snazy campaign and video on Kickstarter & IndieGoGo aaaaaaaaand voila... as long as nobody finds out, ya just became a millionaire... or something
This video could become a new series in itself at this rate. let me know if you like this and maybe i will do a part 2, 3... etc

I have no experience with any of the sites in this video's title. However, I have seen crazy ideas with games. Like, who would predict that an official Monster Rancher game, would be a game that's a crossover for the TV show of "Ultraman"? Awhile back, I saw this insane crossover game, and I had to buy it. Monster Rancher, Ultraman, those two things have nothing to do with each other. Yet, someone had that crazy idea for a crossover, and made it a real game, not a rumor nor fan project. Heck, that weird crossover even tried to work Ultraman (the character) into Monster Rancher's lore in that game

Stolen? Not exactly. This is just dropshipping with an extra get rich quick scheme thrown into it; though typically dropshippers will seek out unbranded products that they can brand with a sticker rather than going through the process of getting them branded before shipping, due to logistics and extra costs involved with properly branding things. Even standard dropshipping in of itself is fairly shady, considering they're corner cutting more proper branding practices with lesser alternatives; and this is on top of the typical quality of the product being lesser, considering manufacturing and IP law abuses coming from certain countries. But none of this is really a surprise, people will always find the easy way out, especially when they face next to no backlash for it.
But as always, blame the platform for allowing this kind of horseshit to happen in the first place, especially when there's _zero_ repercussions for doing so, along with the doubling down of the situation when there's also _zero_ consumer protections with a typical boilerplate reasoning that nearly outright tells the consumer to go screw themselves. It amazes me how these platforms still exist, it amazes me how no regulatory body has fined them into oblivion, it amazes me how these same regulatory bodies haven't also gone after the 'businesses' running these kinds of scams, etc. It's sad how the only decent resolution is mass reporting a campaign before it closes, though this is dependent on platform considering there is perpetual crowdfunding out there that acts as a constant revenue stream. If only some regulatory body would recognize these things as scams, and likely tax system abuses (i.e. written off 'business expenses' and whatever the legal term is for when a product flops and is written off, etc.), and put an end to this perpetual hellhole of bullshit.

I can't tell if I'm tripping or what here. I'm wearing around my neck a pair of headphones that reverse as speakers, and sound fine, that I believe I bought from AliBaba (not 100% sure though) back in 2016 (100% sure of that). They sure weren't $150, probably more like $40 with shipping.
The brand has a logo of two reverse-facing lower-case f's. Did someone actually work this out *and* sold them cheap? This is definitely from 7 years ago. In my experience, it really depends on what you order from those sites whether you get something worth what you spent.
Ordering something like kitchen utensils or certain craft kits/supplies for example? Usually totally fine. Maybe not the highest quality, but generally functional and decent.
Ordering simple clothes or accessories, like tee shirts, keychains or drawstring backpacks? Looking at prints or posters? Probably ok, but I recommend looking for customer images to see how the print or build quality is. Also, be aware that any art used may well be stolen from independent artists.
Looking at figurines, or other swag related to a pop culture property? It's almost certainly a knockoff, but you occasionally end up finding ones that still look ok if you do enough digging.
However, if you're looking at anything like elaborate clothing or complex electronics, expect to get something that doesn't look or work anything like what was presented pretty much every time. Basically, if you're going to the site for cheap, simple generic things, you're much more likely to get what you expect. If you're going in expecting to get something fancy for way less than it should cost, you're going to be massively disappointed.

people do that here. drop shipping. ussually double or triple.
one company even impersonated a legit business and told people to eff off. resulting in the original owner getting massive flak and death threats :(
people just annoy the fuck out of me. because all they got is a little slap on the wrist. for basically scamming elderly handicapped and generally idiotic people.

I'm not gonna rake you over the coals for it Slope, but a friendly comment from a SAG-AFTRA producer here - please don't use AI character voices in your videos; they were made without the actors' permission, and it's... essentially what Hollywood is aiming to do to all of their actors going forward. It's one of the reasons they're striking right now; they tried to sneak permissions to use background actors' faces as AI generated doubles in perpetuity in exchange for one day's worth of pay! You probably weren't aware, so just decided to tell you. There's a lot of budding VAs out there that *don't* make millions (87% of SAG-AFTRA makes less than $26k a year off their acting) that would happily do a Vanellope impression for you instead!

Can ge seen as a win-win-win situation. The Kickstarter supporter actually gets the promised product, which is more than with many other Kickstarter projects. The vendors sells more of the product and the guy in the middle earns some money.
