I cried at the same moment with both my babies. When the baby is finally against you, it’s very much a “we did it” moment. Such an amazing journey between mom and baby, there is literally NOTHING else like it
I did the same and then one second later I was like, ok get him, I’m about to throw up. I guess the anesthesia kicked in from my c-section or something. Lol
Agreed! It’s a relief and it’s like emotions just flow! And it is a journey mom and baby go through for nine-ten months…and when they lay that precious baby that you’ve been nourishing and growing in your womb all that time up on your chest it’s DEFINITELY a feeling like No Other! Nothing else in the planet can compare! I miss when my kiddos were that tiny …but I cherish watching them grow into their own unique teenage selves as well 😊😊😊❤ I thank God for my babies! I was blessed with three happy healthy babies and my labors were all pretty smooth even my last that resulted in a c section 😊😊
Julia talking in the Noah/Booker voice with Smoke was the icing on the cake. I watched this vlog at work and was holding back tears the entire time. I have watched you guys since day 1 and you two will forever be the couple I look up to. I just know Smoke Hemingway was born with an eye for design. I can't wait to watch you guys as parents!!

Man, just finished and I was SO EMOTIONAL watching this; cried several times!! Took me right back to our delivery of our sweet son and all the anticipation and excitement of bringing him into this world…there’s nothing like it!
I have to say Julia is an absolute ROCKSTAR! The way that she stayed calm and determined throughout all those hours of labor and active pushing, is beyond amazing and you really should be so proud of yourself! Sending your sweet little family of four lots of love!! ❤❤

Cried throughout the video because it’s just an emotional and beautiful moment. I’m expecting in November and this made me emotional with so many feelings but with a smile at the end. You did amazing Julia! And Hunter is seriously the best example of a partner!

This is the 2nd time I’ve cried while watching a Julia and Hunter vlog.. 1st time was when they still lived in TX, and Julia was talking about feeling sad and homesick some days. 21:00 Honestly, I only watched this far into the video so far, but I love it so far. I love how much he understands what us woman go thru during labor. When my husband was in the room with me while I pushed our daughter out, he was very helpful, like how your his hubby is! This is a prime example for other women who depend on there mothers to be in the room during labor and delivery that you don't need your mother. You just need a well understood husband next to you. When you both are on the same chapter, things just click right into place. God bless! Congratulations ❤❤❤

Wow! Now THAT'S a birthing suite!!!! Watching Julia in the car on the way to the hospital took me back to my first baby and labor, and man, did it hurt! I was all about the "I want a natural birth. I can handle it! No medicine for me!" Well, that lasted all of 10 minutes when those big contractions hit! It changed to" Give me an epidural RIGHT NOW!!!!"😅😅 Seriously though, I'm so proud of you, Julia! You made it through beautifully and gracefully...and Hunter, you are an inspiration and a role model for lots of dads-to-be out there! Props to you for being so involved, so knowledgeable, and for just being kind to Julia. She needed that, and you were so supportive 💕 CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR SWEET BABY! So incredibly happy for both of you - you've grown so much over these past few years & what a blessing baby Smoke is. Was praying (along with many others) for a safe delivery and healthy baby - this video truly brought us along for the journey. Yes, breathe in these precious moments, resist the urge to do too much (like cleaning, your to-do lists) and take good care of yourself Julia, and that wonderful man of yours. You really do work together as a team, and that's a rarity these days. What a beautiful lil guy you've got!!
Oh my goodness, Julia ❤ I couldn't imagine laboring and pushing for that long! You are amazing and strong! I had a 24 hour labor with my first (ended up needing epidural + pitocin too) and then a freaking 2 hour labor with my second (all natural), so hopefully next time won't be as long for you 🥰. But I'm so impressed!
And hunter! What an amazing birthing partner for Julia. The two of you are an admirable team.

Oh my gosh, hearing a baby cry for the first time makes me sob😭 I just had my second son 6 weeks ago. And there is so much pressure to have a certain type of birth and you see all this stuff online of people telling you what to do and not do for labor but as long as the baby is healthy and mama is healthy it’s all okay! Labor is HARD! And delivery is HARD! But you did it! Congrats mama! 🎉
