Yup... I immediately thought... is that the boostmaster? But, wasn't sure if it was actually him or a new trend was catching on. I think the concept of his bike needs more attention in the industry. It's motocross without the moto!
Way to go Jordan! Love hearing that passion come flooding out as you got to speak about the Boostmonster. This might be the first time I’ve scene Henry actually go giddy on one of these videos. He was like a kid seeing the latest gadget/toy/game come out. LOL!
5:45 I feel so seen by Tajs section lol. As a reformed BMXer, I get a ton of shit about bike and gear choices from people... But when you've spent your entire life relying on feedback and control for bike riding, it's very difficult to ride big thick shoes on a gooey couch cushion bike. Don't even get me started on those thick foam grips people use...
I came from bmx as well, and I dont really cop shit about it, but my bike and gear setup is definitely noticeably different to the "normal" mtb setup. Still wont ever catch me riding long frames and clipped in shoes lol Honestly surprised to see Taj in this video, he is a bmx legend!
the five sevens have way more grip and don't bounce off but I find when riding in vans I am forced to use better foot positioning. if you put your foot in the middle with vans the front and back of your foot will hang over and give your more grip
yesss love the CHROMAG hardtail! Would be sick to see more hardtail content, but not the kind of hardtail content where the presenter goes "well you decieded to start mountain biking and a 100mm XC hardtail surely is the beginner's dream blablabla". I want to see proper hardtail gnar, content for the advanced and wanna-be-advanced like me
Strong agree, there is something oddly lovable about a savage hardtail. A good hardtrail ride always reminds me of the simple joys we can take for granted easily on full squish. I don't even care if a lot of pedaling is involved, I just cannot do XC geometry. However I still love the chatter and hectic feeling without a rear shock.
Same here. While I love full bounce, hardtails are what get me out on the trails. All my bikes are super rowdy hardtails and get ridden like they were meant to. I would love to see some super tech, super rowdy hardtail action, pleeeeeaaaaassssseeeeeee!
Wow! Taj ........legeeeeeeeeeend been trying to convince him to buy a full suss for years good luck with that Henry there's fire in that man that NEEDS TO COME OUT!!!
Jordan's Boostmonster and wilson are probably the most recognizable downhill bikes by a youtuber. I would've say Seth's Trek 4900 is also a memorable bike but he ditched it.
The winners here are the people who aren't conforming to what the industry has marketed to them. Jordan is obviously having a lot of fun on what many would consider to be near-vintage, and the dude with the Chromag is the least pretentious person ever, using BMX as inspiration to set his bike up. He just seems quite okay with how his bike is even if many of us might say it's wrong.
Someone explain the wrapped cables for tail whips and bar spins. Are they wrapped in only one direction and then you do the tricks in only that direction?
You pretty much nailed it, you leave the cables a little longer and wrap them the opposite direction of the barspin/tailwhip, so when you do that trick over and over the cable unwinds and you don’t have to worry as much about the cable stopping your bars from spinning.
I like Henry but he talks too close to his mic or something. My speakers dont like it. All the other hosts dont have this problem. When he was on gmbn i didnt notice it. Am I the only one noticing this? Henry is dop3 btw! I love the podcast. I never miss it, and consistently Henry has too much bass but he doesn’t have a deep voice. So weird…
Congrats Jordan on building an icon. I think a lot of folks instantly recognized the thumbnail...
Yup... I immediately thought... is that the boostmaster? But, wasn't sure if it was actually him or a new trend was catching on. I think the concept of his bike needs more attention in the industry. It's motocross without the moto!
I was 99% sure that was the Boostmonster in the thumbnail.
Yuup I only clicked cause BOOSSTYYYY! lol
Yep known it was the boostmaster for sure
Thanks for featuring my bike!
Its a really sick one, after all!
We alllll know whose bike that is on the thumbnail!!
Jordon Boostmaster
@@-southern_dh_mtb-5840 you sure?
@@loganjacobson2335 I think so
The boost monster is just legendary.
I loved how uncomfortable Henry looked when his bike was called a dentistry downhill
Lol i thought it was the autogenerated subtitles
What’s his bike? A V10? What’s that?
@@Jump-n-smash santa cruz V10
What did he mean by that?
@@shalakabooyaka1480 it's a meme, who else can buy these crazy expensive bikes besides dentists
Please do a dedicated video on Jordan's Super Monster A-Line bike ! That is nuts! Boostmonster vs Grim Donut?
there are lots of videos dedicated to the Supermonster A-Line that Jordan does on his channel @JordanBoostmaster
Way to go Jordan! Love hearing that passion come flooding out as you got to speak about the Boostmonster. This might be the first time I’ve scene Henry actually go giddy on one of these videos. He was like a kid seeing the latest gadget/toy/game come out. LOL!
Hell yeah love to see the boostmonster
Someone tell Henry I've got an A Line he can buy off me when he comes back to England
Instantly recognized the Boostmonster
pretty cool to see Jordan in front of the camera and not behind it as usual haha
Two legends in one video! I didn't expect to see Taj!!
Literally opened this video because I saw Jordan's bike in the preview - fucking awesome machine
Maaaaaan Taj and I both have a Stylus I've never felt so cool. One of my fave riders/artists!
Jordan Boostmaster! That's awesome
I would love for pinkbike to put a dedicated video just for BoostMonster's Journey
I knew I was looking at the Boostmonster. Lets go Jordan!
🤘😎🤘
Jordan’s bike kinda stole the show😎
Jordan’s a rad dude. Glad ya got him and the boost monster on here!
That Dreanought is SICK!!
Jordan! 1st thing i thought seeing your bike on thumbnail.
That was a super fun vid. It's been a lot of fun watching Jordan work out the kinks on that Norco, such a super project.

The boost monster
Same question as last year: Why do not establish a series like Friday-Fails. Every week such a video - I'd love it 🥰
Sweet bike checks with very interesting questions 👍🏽
that last bike set up was sick, definitely doing that when i get over to BC
The boostmonster! ❤
Jordan’s bike got on a pinkbike video!
8:22 What he says about having flexible shoes as an ADVANTAGE on the pedals is something I've been saying for years now.

@@tristansutton371 If you manage to get your five sevens really worn out without destroying them I feel like it's the best of both worlds.
Here for the Boostmonster! Saw it and clicked.
Taj is a legend. His bike is badass. Jordan’s bike is a real downhill bike. Unlike others.
Love the bike checks. Keep the rolling
Boostmaster have a very nice rig :) monster madness
Buddy rocking the Vans shoes, hell ya! I am not a fan of super stiff riding shoes either. BMX Vans hi-tops for the win🤘🏻
Henry finally gonna ride the bike park i expect an update in both podcasts 😄
Theres another podcast?

Goodness, that some motocross dirtbike length suspension right there.
Love these in depth bike checks! Ask all the questions!
Стритец на супермонстре жив, пацаны!

Love those Videos
james with the DVO
😍
SUUUPERMONSTER!!!! F*ck yeah
Jordan Boostmaster! The man
Taj! I literally ride his Fairdale! I wish the top tube was lower but it handles great nevertheless.
Taj the GOAT
Jordan's Boostmonster and wilson are probably the most recognizable downhill bikes by a youtuber.
I would've say Seth's Trek 4900 is also a memorable bike but he ditched it.
Light weight innertube, whats the world come to 😂.... love the norco with the marzocchi monster t's 300mm travel. why is this not more popular 😂
Boostmaster!!!!!
Cool content.
Surprised Taj isn't riding the prototype Fairdale 29er they had on show at Sea Otter
Yeah Taj!!!!!!!!!!
Here for more Pinkbike x Boostmaster please 🙏
the first bike.....I think brands should consider handling a higher stack high for enduro bikes...
My favourite bike is a santa cruz super 8 with jack t up suspension and monster t fork s basically a huck bike monster
PB should do a challenge between two hosts to see how many people they can get to say the have a "bmx background"
First guy definitly knows how to speak in front of camera!!
Coming from Jordan Boostmaster vid.
I Was 😎 There With My CF Demo8
3:27 lol
one of the more DRY bike check episodes
That norco .. Chris king etc cool. But the brake discs ... Needs someting like Hope floating rotors. More braking area.
Love the hardtail, does someone know which rims are on it?
This makes me feel so much better about running my $30 walmart skate shoes 😂
Sometimes I wish there was just a channel for normal people
That was 20% sag?! What's the rear travel, 500 mm?!?!
I think 240?
According to vital mtb, his travel is 279mm rear and 300mm front. Absolutely insane
lovley bikes
Waaaay more natural and fun than chappeta's videos!!

a better question would be: "why would you ever run gears on the chairlift bike?"
Is Jordan doing Bender sized drops or what??? lol
Here for Boostmaster bc I can spot the boostmonster from a mile away
Brake angle ... with step ones you have only to move your fingres a little bit and brake. It is faster, but has to be the right angle.
Standing on choc ices 😅
Hahahaha, where's the engine?
Can someone get Henry a hat? That Lily white skin needs protection.
So when Outside did their big purge, did they fire the editors too? How in the world did "Singlespeed's" end up in the title?
9:02 single speed bike for u
nothing ruins a cool video like hearing henry talking

DO NOT USE APOSTROPHS FOR PLURAL.
Eeww
this video is about 8 minutes to long...
the new dh bikes are so ugly :D
Too much talking, more bikes instead.
