Ooooohh😀😀😀❤️❤️❤️What a beautiful shawl! My goodness is that pretty! Crystal, you just out do yourself all the time! I’m going to watch this video now, Can’t wait to see how you did this, you are so clever!!😮🎩😎❤️❤️❤️
I’m making this in white for my future daughter-in-law to wear at the reception since her gown is strapless and the wedding is outdoors in Baton Rouge in November. She may not need it, but I’m making it just in case.
I made this shawl for a friend using a light fingering weight cotton/acrylic yarn. It was a gift for a friend and she was delighted with it. Thank you for this lovely pattern.
Thank you Crystal I have just finished my shawl and I am very pleased with it. It's beautiful I love it 🥰😍🥰 I will be making more of this one. I would love to show you the finished shawl but I don't do Facebook or any of the social platforms I only do the comments. Thank you again my shawl is so beautiful 😍❤️🤗 XOXO
Oooooooooo, what a beauty. Even my 'non crochet' 'not interested' hubby is impressed with this one. Crystal I don't know how you come up with your designs but this one is a winner. Thank you.
You are such a good teacher. I've done 3 other shawls from your playlist and I'm feeling confident because you're so good and thorough. Thanks for helping me and challenging me.
You did it again with another beautiful shawl pattern. I enjoyed making this one too, even though I messed up and had to rip several rows. But then its the journey and not the destination. I guess you can call them the open or checkerboard diamond and the do-hicky diamond. I mean the solid diamond, LOL.
Oh Crystal! This is beautiful. I'm a visual learner and you are my favorite teacher. I'll watch the video several times then get my materials and crochet along with your video. Thank you 💘
OMG!! I made it for my cousin in a black and sparkling yarn gorgeous 💖 she gave me. I hope she likes it. Now to make one for me 😍. Thank you Cristal blessings to all 💖.
This is the first shawl I am making, and I have decided to name it DooHickies and diamonds in honor of what you called those little guys! Great tutorial as always!
This is my very first shawl, I started watching 2 min of these and grabbed me a Caron cake this is just calling me! Especially being Greek this is just so special to me being the “Olive leaf “ shawl!! So Ty my love I needed this!! (Fam.driving me nuts!) so wish me luck… on to row 2!! Xoxo
Well I had to do it. I used Caron Cakes, not just one cake. I used various shades of teal, white and blue with a stripe of black and I love love it‼ Thank you so much for sharing🤗🤙
I’m working on this beauty right now. Just FYI, there are several places where Crystal says single crochet but demonstrated double crochets in the groups of three. I suggest watching closely, since Crystals’s videos are so easy to follow. I can’t wait to post the pic of my Olive on the FB group. Such a beautiful pattern. Thanks Crystal!
I noticed it too, but I knew what she meant. It was in the middle of the " checkerboard" pattern which I knew was always double crochets. By the time it happened I understood the pattern well enough to know.
Incredible. How am I only just seeing this? Grabbing a ball of yarn and starting the video over to join you. This is a beautiful pattern and as usual, your instruction is easy to follow. Thanks!!
I’m super duper scared and intimated of crocheting this. . I must try this pattern anyway. It’s beautiful, Crystal. Oh, heads up, I’m happy to see your patterns in Mary Maxim. I’ve watched you for 5 years. You are so creative. A true artist. ❤
I can’t thank you enough for this shawl tutorial, and I personally would rather call them doohickies myself but perhaps the word you’re looking for is motif? Many many Thanks Crystal!!
Oh my goodness!! That is gorgeous! I could definitely see a bride wearing this. My daughter who is a photographer said she wants at least 1 for her brides to be. Thank you for another beautiful tutorial
I do believe this is my favorite shawl also..i started it last night with a fine wool..the wool is so so soft..first time I have ever used it..and it very well be my favorite yarn.
Crystal, to help me keep track, I would call the doohickies trees and the chain spaces 'branching' out from them branches. And, of course, the diamonds were diamonds. Thank you for all you do to break things down 101 style so we can enjoy crocheting fabulous items as well. 😊
