Good god, I'm looking at that St. Louis figure, and my confidence in my own resin kit painting skills suddenly skyrocketed.
The resin figures are so expensive yet there's no assured that the final result will be good, that's crazy!
@@gabrielrodriguez1806 well yeah but it happens only to a very small number of manufacturers. I've been doing this series of reviewing 3rd Party brands for this reason, both to inform people and also to gather data for myself so i can have a list of companies that i know is safe to buy from.

Dodomo seems to have gotten a lot better. They have a few delays but nice of them to show it's not for no reason. Excited to see how their Asuna and Yor will turn out.
When you say Asuna, you mean Asuna from SAO or Blue Archive?
Interestingly, the Mi Yin Kafka is actually mostly made from PVC instead of your typical resin. So not all GK statues are actually made from resin.
This needs to be more common!
20:30 Yea they did a good job on Tatsumaki’s face, I want a figure of her but I’m not happy with what’s available. The Bellfine is terrible, it looks nothing like her, the Amakuni figure she’s too big, she’s only slightly smaller than the Fubuki.
The best figure of her is the 1/8 from Freeing, but it’s going for over ¥40k in the aftermarket.
56:25 I would actually recommend the Kadokawa instead of this, she’s actually wearing nearly the exact same outfit, same cloak, with a similar bikini and it’s in a running pose. I have that figure and love it. I also have the ques Q which is also great.
I just paid for the shipping on my Kiana HoF so I can't wait for it to arrive it will be my first resin figure
I only have 3 unlicensed resins, all 3 Demon Slayer, I have “Rengoku Vs Akaza from Hero Belief Studios”, I absolutely love this statue, everything about it then “Kanroji from TNT Studios”, I also love this statue, looks so good, then “U-King Studios Nezuko”, I only just opened the box to make sure nothing was broken, I don’t have it displayed yet.
3:46 The game just came out a day or 2 ago & there's already a figure of 1 of the best girls from it. I can't wait to see more ZZZ figures in general.
5:05 In case you're wondering, that Link figure is based on what he was inthe most recent Zelda game, Tears of the Kingdom & even though I'm more of a classic 3D Zelda fan who didn't like the gameplay of the Breath of the Wild series, this is still a cool figure.

I recieved Xibing’s Ganyu, and I unfortunately have to state out the problems.
The sculpt and everything is 1 to 1 imo to what was promised ~ the problem lies with the base.
The entire figure uses magnets, which is fine and works well, but the base is a rough cut piece of acrylic (mine arrived scuffed and scratched to hell, which did not hapen during shipping), and used magnets aswell to hold her down.
The product image had shown a support for her right foot, which they removed because “it wasnt necessary to support her”.
No, she desperately needed it. She straight falls down to the right without putting a support under her heel.
With that said, she was a cheaper statue, and the sculpt is great. Just expect to need to do something about the base yourself.
one of the shoes have a magnet and the other shoe just metal for the magnet in the acrylic base in the one i got.
@@jackyc.6183Her left foot has a thin longer magnet, which is sturdy. Her right foot for me has a circlular magnet, which would work fine if her heel was supported. I had to make something myself to support her from falling.

22:36 Very bad likeness for Mari, the best figure of Mari is the 1/7 by Revolve, that figure is amazing, and you can get it for so cheap now, I’ve no idea how that figure bargain binned, it’s such a good figure, it has a great pose & the paint & sculpt is excellent. I’m so happy I bought it. The next best is the white suit Kotobukiya.
23:23 You think that face looks good? I think it looks nothing like Asuka. There’s so many Evangelion figures with terrible likeness, Kotobukiya gets her likeness really good. And again the 1/7 by Revolve that matches Mari is excellent.
