Thanks for the background. I knew about the agreement between Russo and Romero to split the rights, but nothing about the production problems. When I heard about this movie m I was pretty excited because I LOVED Return of the Living Dead which Russo was attached to as a writer. I didn’t find out until much later that Russo’s script was shaite and Dan O’Bannon pretty much scrapped the whole thing and rewrote it from scratch. I also read later that much of the rejected script was recycled into this POS.😆 And I agree, 500K could’ve gone a long way to making a much better movie in the hands of a good producer. Just think of what someone like Roger Corman could’ve done with that kind of money.😆

When I read about this a few years ago the back story was way more interesting than the movie.
