Thanks Vic for another tour of a very interesting museum located in a remote place that many people would like to visit. It is amazing to realize how much the rivalry between various European countries to secure control of the enormous natural wealth they discovered in the "third world" colonies shaped the history of our world. Hopefully we have all learned a lesson from this mad exploitation of other people's property and we wish the indigenous peoples of these countries every success with their independence going forward.
What I found very amazing, during my tour of the Pacific Ocean, was the fact that many the European powers (Germany, France, Great Britain, USA) tried to control and to completely take over some of these islands and nations with very negative consequences for the local populations (many people were lost due to disease, war, etc).. I learned so much and most of it was very painful history indeed...
Very interesting and informative video of The Museum of Samoa located in Apia. It is very interesting to learn about the hardships that the Samoa people faced while remaining a colony of New Zealand, and why they had to wait so many years to gain their independence from New Zealand. Lovely artifacts on display in this museum, and it was indeed very interesting to be able to view the displays of pottery on display in the museum. I hope that one day soon I will have the strength to go and visit Samoa and the its Capital City of Apia.
I'm a Samoan born citizen and it's great to see your video. As I have not been to the Samoa museum or even explore the island itself. Thanks again for the video Vic Stefanu and for exploring the island.

Germany & New Zealand had no right to occupy Samoa whatsoever..!! The way I look at it NZ & Germany should be made to pay compensation for the damage they did to my beloved Samoa.. This information should be removed from our samoan history
Mate, it warms my heart that you would dwell into my culture and experience it from the outside in.. good stuff..
