My friend Eric Thomsen, builder of the Redwood Valley Railway, Berkley California on two occasions shipped a Redwood Valley locomotive to the Romney to operate on the RH&D. Eric was on friendly terms with then RH&D general manager John Snell and senior engine driver George
Barlow. Rest in peace my friends. And thank you for this up to date look at Capt. Howie's railway.

I rode this line in 1949 and 1950. Mum, Dad and self stayed at the Jolly Fisherman Hotel at Greatstones on Sea , I was 8 ears old in 1949. My bedroom overlooked the RHDR, I thought I had gone to Heaven,!!!

That'#s a great shot in the mist at 5:05. That must be on the Dungeness extension?

Nicely filmed, but lacking in any info like Station Names etc - could do with a voice-over just to make it even more interesting and some appropriate light instrumental music. Only my POV.
