    This is clearly an omnibus. Though I have to admit, I've never watched this on TV. They probably did not aired this episode on my area back then..

      @PanthereaLeonis 19 дней назад +1

      Not sure omnibus is quite right, it's not just two episodes stitched together end to end, this is a mix of multiple episodes' episodes of a similar theme all stitched together to make one franken-episode. I like it though.

      Yeah but no one's going to catch that they literally confirmed the sinking shipment accidentally with that sailboat that you can clearly watch Adam sink beneath the water and then they cut away

      If we're talking semantics compilation would be the word. Omnibus is more of a periodical of episodes produced within a specific time period. Close enough to consider correcting you would be some rather "Karen" material though.

    With modern cars, I wouldn't be so sure about opening doors while underwater. There's just too much electronics which may be made nonfunctional by water, especially seawater.

    26:30 You need to take several deep breaths (to oxygenate your blood)…then get the window open to let the water in. Trouble is…everything being electric these days it might not operate. Many modern cars also have laminated, un breakable side windows! Better hope it also doesn’t have electrically assisted door locks. If so…you’re screwed. There’s a lot to be said for older, low tech cars.

    It drives me nuts the way they botch the retelling of some of these myths. Robert says that they skipped testing the M1 for the Bulletproof Water myth, but anyone who watched the episode saw them test the M1! They didn't skip it! What the hell makes them think they can just lie to us like that?

    Never really liked it as the distance to the water is not great enough, at the Normandy beaches for example it was much more than 1000m to the water line, at that distance the bullets had bled of enough speed to zip through the water, not disintegrate also not say entering at surf conditions not static.

    Water is easily the worst landing. The pavement just straight up kills you. Water is more likely to break you but leave you alive in agony until you drown. I'll take concrete.
