Assembly Notes:
After experiencing the same frustrations as everyone else with the assembly of the 1st of 4 lounges, I downloaded the PDF of the instructions and zoomed in on the images. Then I found the trick to assemble these easily. I posted this video to help others.
A key thing I did not mention in the video is to elevate the chair during assembly to allow the arms to hang down. I used a couple of seat cushions from my deck chairs.
Also, as is typical of purchases like these, the tools that come with it are just barely adequate to do the job. You can certainly use those tools, but for this assembly I chose to use my drill/driver with a HEX head bit that fit the screws....makes the assembly so much quicker. It is important to assemble one side first and tighten the screws ALL THE WAY. This tightening of the screws on one side opens the other side up so the washers will fit easily on the other side.

Agree that 4 screws should not be so difficult. I searched for a video, but didn't find any so wanted to help others after I initially got frustrated too (and I am pretty handy with such things, lol) . I did post the link in a comment to the Costco site.

This was invaluable. The pictures were awful. But I had to tighten it manually and I do NOT recommend that! Use a power tool!

My washers is just too tight on one side. Yours just lined right up. What do I do if they don’t line up like that? Help!!
Hi, suggest getting some sandpaper and sanding them down just enough to fit. Lay the sandpaper on a flat surface and use pliers to run the washer across the sandpaper. This will keep your hands clear of the sanding. 👍
Anyone else have issues locking the arm rests in place? It seems the clips are not wide enough. Steve please help!
I think you just need to apply a bit more force to snap them in place. If not, turn it over and move the arms to see what may be blocking it.

The washer on the second side doesn't fit at all. Any trick to that?
I had that problem initially, but I found that if you tighten both screws one side well, it will open the other side sufficiently to slide the washer in. Another thing I thought about trying if that did not work was to sand down the washer a little bit until it fit, but on the 4 chairs I assembled I didn’t have to resort to that. I hope this helps.

Mine didn’t come with the screw or washers. Am I missing parts
Hello, the chair should have come with a red blister pack of screws, washers and a couple simple tools to install. If you watch my video at 3:47 minutes you will see this red blister pack sitting on the table below the chair. If yours did not have this blister pack, then yes you need it to install the arms. Hope this helps!
