hey Vic, I've been watching your guides about solo pvp mist. It greatly helped me in improving my pvp skills in the mist. Your explanations in every video a saw is easy to understand. So far, I got a 40%(win) to 60%(lose) ratio in my fights. I'm slowly improving and applying all the teachings that I got from u. I've been doing a lot gathering, refining, crafting, black market econ in the game. Silver is not an issue for me. So I added an extra challenge for myself, it's to challenge enemies(or getting jumped by enemies) with T8 gears while I'm using T4.2 gears and SURVIVE the fight. Doesn't matter if I don't get the kill or I get killed, as long as I apply the teachings that I got in your vidoes. I hope you upload more pvp guides in the future.
I have been watching his videos from the start and imcorporated his teachings in my strategies but when I fight somebody in the mists i get reckt by meta. I can kill the mobility meta easily but carving and battle axe are a real challenge to me, still waiting for that carving guide :) and could you do a guide about baiting enemy spells like e of carving or avalonian gloves?
That's awesome!! I'm happy to know that you are enjoying the videos AND that you are enjoying PvP. The specific challenge you outlined does sound like a good idea! In my experience if you take fights that you should not take in theory, you also start getting many kills that you should not get in theory and that feels so good when it happens!
11:23 if you wan't that much to kite with great frost and blink you have to use q3, and even in general since great frost e is just pure damage without cc it is better to use q3. It worked great for me even against very mobile builds like mace, bl or carving. Oh and also not switching cloth helmet to push against melee build is VERY greedy. You dont really need that range from laser since your e already has 2 kilometers range and short cd, and it helps to not die when you finally use blink to catch. In short if you kite - q3, blink, push, invis (use it after push) If you brawl - q1, w lance, laser, infernal shield
Nice that you are making great frost work!! I feel like it deserves more playtime than i currently see in Mists! And your analysis is almost like you saw the first version of my script for the video :))) 100% what I was thinking when looking at this fight. Swapping Q and helmet would make so much sense if he is determined to win by kiting!
I will for sure continue with making a general overview of mists meta (like i did for low IP builds). I'll think about what you suggested if i understood it correctly - picking a couple of the most meta builds and going deeper into details.
I fought a bow player earlier, i couldnt finish him but he couldnt finish me. A good bow player is honestly the probably the hardest person to beat in a 1v1
Hey man! Saw your reply on my great frost staff and I'm glad you're back my guy! Just want your general opinion once more, I love using longbow for my pvp but I'd like to switch it up, I was wondering if I could possible use Mistpiercer, solely for aesthetic purpose as I love sniping people! I know the Warbow exists but I like the Mist more aesthetically, but that's just me. I was thinking Solider helmet when a brawl starts incase my boots and movement are on CD, any leather jacket maybe? Or if you have a suggestion? And any plate boots. I just don't enjoy warbow slow skillshot, and i know mist has a cast time as well.
I haven't played mistpiercer in mist but I thinks its only really viable in duos with some disable. Good thing about warbow is that if you miss your E (which will happen often with any spell that you have to aim from far), it's not a big deal because you will have another E soon. With mistpiercer it will be very difficult to hit enough damage with your E because people will dodge or use defensives after your first E arrow.
i would love a in deep guide for deathgivers. I start the spear bcs of you and im destroying. I surrender on dg because they were too difficult but now that im better i realy need to take advantaje of my 106 spect set
Both are currently strong in the mists but the versatility of deathgivers make them one of the strongest solo pvp weapons while 1h dagger is a bit more situational and requires more precision.
I loveI kiting builds, I'm playing cursed staff, 0 mobility build, I just bait the enemy into using one of the defensives on my first combo then bait his mobility to catch up with me on soldier boots and finish on the second combo. Just last week I killed an awakened chillhowl 1 tier higher just because he didn't swicht his jacket to inferno to match mine while I caught him in invis pot on an open map objective.
@@AnisTaibi-cg5ie He Iframed the first E but brawled with me in meele while I had inferno instead of kiting so he lost the fight after the second E in undead cape.
You have a lot of experience with this which makes you say things like "I just bait the enemy" :))) I think for most of us, baiting an enemy into committing to the fight is one of the more difficult things to master!
@@VicZaneGaming Sometimes the experience can also mess you up the whole fight especially against newer players, that's why I try to adapt to each fight individually, it's not always working especilly against multiple rats, the kiter gets away and I die but if I die, I learn and if I learn, I bank, sometimes the best action for heavy kiters is to not fully comit from start, I always keep potion for the second part of the fight in this cases.
If you can actually pull it off, that's awesome! I haven't seen it in a fight though and it sounds a lot more complicated than the soldier helmet play.
@@VicZaneGaming the key is the 2nd you see their charge up bar you Frost shot backwards, bcuz their E is based on your last location. 1 of 2 things happens. 1 best case you it completely and have distance on them. 2 you DMG, creat distance but take the stun. The outcome just depends on how quickly you can react and get the Frost shot off. Hope that helps
Good observation! It's a bit of luck but not entirely - if I had 2 stacks i would've possibly used boots first in hopes of hitting that 3rd Q and then E-ing a tiny bit later.
Yes and No. It's good if you want to be able to handle all kinds of fights but it comes with a very difficult learning curve which can be frustrating for a while. Here's a bit more nuanced answer from me - ruclips.net/video/rhy8XkQDyzo/видео.htmlsi=XW-eNY37ibPqTPQr
Maintaining space is still priority number 1 so if that's an issue, omelette and eel stew are good choices. But I agree with you that once you get better at spacing, roast snapper becomes really powerful, especially for Bow of Badon!
I really dont understand bow q3 users. It doesn't have more dps than q2 despite what anyone believes, even if you count the dpc on full 3 stacks (which you need to get first) it is less than q2 dps. And especially after cd = 2s buff. On top of that with q2 you get all damage right away, plus the resistance cut. Also it can't be reflected that easily like q3. Sure q2 is a skillshot, but lets be honest you need to have claws for hands to miss it more than like one time per fight. And it has insanely more range than q3.
I mostly agree with everything you mentioned about q2 and that's also why i use it myself. But one reason why q3 still has some benefit is no cast time or animation meaning if you want to go full on 100% kite mode you can keep using it without losing precious milliseconds of movement every time.
@@VicZaneGaming so what to do against it now ? armor of valor is good but only works on badon and some very little stuff other than it and it's plate so bad damage

best anti-kiting method is... turn around and walk the other way

Yeah, sounds like a common situation - the same distance that bows need to survive is the distance that makes it difficult for them to finish a kill.
