    Ryan Clark a sneak artist got no good head up hits his whole career blind hit every one

    • @Gcygs
      @Gcygs 2 месяца назад +7

      Lmao, saying Ryan Clark was a “sneak artist” is a stretch. Back in the day, the game was played differently, and his job was to punish anyone coming across the middle. That hit on Willis McGahee in the AFC Championship? That was a straight-up heads-up play, making receivers think twice about coming up the middle-had them hearing footsteps for real. Clark’s style was all about handling business on the field, and that’s exactly what helped the Steelers get to the Super Bowl. So, trying to downplay his hits doesn’t really line up with how the game was meant to be played back then.

      @@Gcygsbut yet the Saints get scapegoated by saying they were putting out bounties.
      When you guys hit hard in the 70s,Pittsburgh steelers was praised. My dad is born in 53,New Orleans and when i was coming up he would always bring up the 70s steelers being cold blooded on defense (in a good way)
      That's why he was shocked when the media threw the Saints under the bus. He said he came up in an era where they would step on your hand if you were on the ground, and it was praised.

    • @Gcygs
      @Gcygs 2 месяца назад

      @@TheJayblaze3 I wasn’t born in the ’70s, but from what I’ve heard, that era was brutal-football was raw, and the Steelers were the definition of smash-mouth football. Back then, laying down those bone-crushing hits was just part of the game, especially if you were on a defense as nasty as Pittsburgh’s. But the way the Saints got thrown under the bus with that bounty scandal? Straight-up hypocrisy. I believe head hunting was in every locker room; the Saints just got caught. It’s wild how what used to be celebrated as toughness is now condemned. The Saints got a raw deal, no question.

      @@Gcygs it ain’t a stretch I see you don’t know football a head up head up is if mcaghee was looking his head and Ryan head heads up yeah the game was played different you can’t name a tackle Ryan got that was a big hit and the person was looking he was under size and. Smal and would lose that battle if Mcaghee was looking or had the ball running with steam just like Levon did him
