All I’m seeing is mostly identical results but in other cases the 16PM had slightly more clarity, produced a bit brighter photos and the mic quality is a big difference. I’d say they most major changes this year are the efficiency of the phone, the mics and the better battery life.
I think efficiency of the cores has been made better due to which it has a slight better battery life, a slight better performance… some changes in cameras and mics too.. for cameras also I would say it’s slightly better as it has 4k 120 and 4k slow mo.. but for mics, for sure there’s a huge difference..
@@DevlL_J0ker The average person wouldn’t be using 4k120 for their videos. I personally use 1080p60fps cuz its literally enough for me. The phone has better battery life and performance but those are also very minor changes that they make in every single previous flagship so its nothing innovative. The only legitimate actual upgrade are the mics in my opinion.
In photos, seems that iphone16series are crushing blacks more than they should, leaving unwanted results in shadows in some challenging scenes that require aggressive HDR. Also it also looks that they’ve bumped the sharpness slider, creating less natural pictures compared to 15PM and previous. This is more noticeable at lower light scenes, where results are mushy sometimes.
I feel this years camera update is possibly the smallest ever for the iPhone. Its new ultra-wide sensor hardly captures more detail than the previous 12 mp and the other cameras are virtually the same. But on the up side, I feel the iPhone 15 Pro Max was a good upgrade last year from my previous iPhone 8 Plus that I used for 6,5 year! I plan to keep this one for multiple years as well.
@@Artemis-v8i No I didn’t mean to compare it in that way. What I meant is that I’m happy I didn’t wait for the 16 Pro Max as the 15 Pro Max is performing close to the same and I have been enjoying using it for 10 months now.
Does it focus faster than the 15pm? I find it takes so long to focus on an item with my 15pm that it makes me hate it because most of my images are blurry and have to snap many to get the results I’m happy with.
Its same, ni sensor focus changes. For the main camera sensor there are some minimal focus distance issues for closer subjects, try to get some separation
Main difference at 4:07 Can the iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max record at 4K 120fps? No. That is a feature of the camera hardware on the iPhone 16 Pro models that is not available on iPhone 15 models. iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max can record 4K at 60 fps while iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max can record 4K at 120 fps.
I have an iphone XS MAX. I was thinking about upgrading to a 15 PM or 16PM but cant decide. this upgrade would ONLY be so i could have a better camera and battery for my travels....NO OTHER REASON!!!!! I think it would be nice to have 2 iphones (same apple ID) when i travel in case i lose on or one gets stolen. So if I buy a new iphone can i still travel with both and have both active without messing things up?
It’s crazy because you can tell they put that same exact camera from the 15 pro into the 16 pro. This is like the 50th camera comparison video I have watched of these 2 phones 🤦🏽♂️
@@MacXpert74 For close up macro it is definitely much much better, the shots I was able to get vs the old uw were worthy of a 2-3k dslr setup, that is my usecase. Unless that, just get a 14 pro I'd sad
@@hassandimassi8791 Yes, but 16 pro max have more often blown highlights and shadows lifted too high, also oversharpening looks even worse than in previous versions.
@@PatrickWithCamera You are wrong they are pretty similar just in some colors and contrast that can be changed in the phone + the new ultra wide make it more detailed both are good tho and look alike
@@hassandimassi8791 In videos u don't have such flexibility to change contrast or colors without huge lose in quality, except if u shot log, in my case if I want log I use my main camera not phone. I have tried both cameras, because the 15PM 512gb is at the same price as the 16PM 256gb in my region, surpisingly, the 16PM performed worse, not capturing all the blacks in the scene (making them greys), while being better in capturing details, but not handling well color saturation and faces (details like hair). I don't know whether contrast adjustment can fix it in the 16PM. So, the 15PM wins overall, because the 4K120fps feature is not needed all the time... I'm confused... it's strange to give preference to an older version.
I can't see any major different between both. I still with my 15pm this year :3
samee
Same
Same. I think we'll still like that until the iPhone 18pm
Yes the results are close to identical.
I’m getting the iPhone 15pm upgrade from my iPhone 11 🙌🏻

That’s not a fair comparison. A 1 year diffrence between 6.5

Yes, only the ultra-wide sensor is upgraded in quality, but it's not performing much better at all, particularly not in low-light.

Nice video thanks
All good man! Glad you liked it
Colours and skins tones do look improved on the 16. More natural. Sound definitely 👍
I have a 13 Pro. Time to upgrade...
Do I go for the 16 Pro or the 15 Pro?
16 pro max for the best battery
No reason to upgrade from 15 to 16 even if money is no object.
The 16 pro max has more dynamic range and details, watching in 2260p on iPad Pro 03:53 awesome Bokeh
How about battery test
In iPhone 16 the white balance is more correct.
Thanks bro.😊
I think the 15 PM is nicer to the eyes although they are very very close
14 pro max 512 very happy !
Thank you so much for the video. It seems like the 15 Pro Max feels more natural and realistic.
lol i think the opposite

stimmt
No major improvement. i think people are better off getting the 15 pro max. The 17 might be the one that has a major improvement in camera and video.
There is not much difference between these two phones, which one is better still 😵
Worse than last year😊
