A very handy video for us starting out,I look foward to watching the full course of videos when they get posted. Are there any good books that can also help?
You are a great help to me. Your instruction is the best I’ve ever seen regarding Lightroom, and other subjects regarding the photography sold. Thank you very much Anthony.
I still start by using these setting, which I saw on one of your early LR videos. I saved them as a preset and it is automatically added to all images on import. It saves so much time.
I have been using this basic technique that YOU taught me for many years now. I even have made a "hilites down shadows up" preset because the trick is so useful. Over time I have learned how to adjust, often, for example, leaving the hilites down but adding back some shadow. My usual workflow is to first do my cull, then take the keepers and apply the quick and dirty preset. It gives me a better idea of what I am working with. I have a caveat, though: *it works best when the exposure is nailed.* I shoot raw-only in mirrorless, keeping live preview on at all times, which I think helps get the exposures bang down the middle.
Thank you. . . I have introduced my 14 year old grandson to Lightroom and this will help him get started. I'll look into purchasing your lessons for him. I want to get him started correctly. Also I am concerned about his file management methods using Lightroom; I use LR extensively and have over 12,000 images that I've accumulated over almost at 10 or 12 year period, that's the ones I've saved. I was stressing to him the importance of file naming conventions and being able to find pictures from your past photo treks. I think LR is the best when it comes to that.
This was great. So simple, but so effective. I look forward to the series on Lightroom. One thing I look forward to is editing portraits as that can be more difficult than landscapes, or at least how I see it.
Have been using this guide from you from some tears. Looking forward to see new series. Have old version without Dehave slider - any recommendation on what to do in replace this slider?
Great tips/ideas, but I posit that "auto" is now sophisticated enough (via Adobe, making it better) to use. I often just use "auto" and then only need about 10% changes like yo mentioned, just based on my tastes with the image. Just my $A.02.
I basically can’t use Lightroom because my MacBook Pro fan kicks on to the noise level of the space shuttle and the battery starts dropping my like 10% at a time and then the app quits.

Super tips! Easy peasy with terrific results.
Anthony you are incredibly talented teacher Ty for sharing!
Great tips Anthony, I've just processed a few images I took yesterday and it's amazing how quickly one gets some great results. Thank you.

Thank you. Looking forward to your updated Lightroom series. I learned a lot from the previous series and was hoping you would update it.

That's so helpful. Thank you.
Great info, thanks!
Great info for beginners Anthony, will look forward to your new video training on Lightroom 👏👏👏
Great video for newbies - thank you! Look forward to your course coming out

I can’t wait👍😉
Thanks!

Can you also make a demo for portrait please Anthony?I have a thousands of outdoor photos and don't know what to do.
Wonder how selecting the Auto button vs this technique would compare?
Will your upcoming course be worth purchasing for someone who refuses to buy a subscription. I have the last version available for an airgapped PC.
Is it possible to adjust the white and the black points (clipping) the same way in Affinity Photo?

But after Lightroom editing it did not look natural 🤔🙄
I am really getting irritated with this I want to throw the laptop across the room. For some reason I just cannot get this editing photos down
Photo editing is for cheaters, no?
