- What better way to relieve some stress from a long work week by getting out on the coast no matter how close or far (this one was 10mins away) and to top it off, scoring some dinner for the family. That's how to hit them at those different levels. I'm talking columns of water, bait, lure, jig selection, and the quiver of rods and reels. From swimming in the ocean to swimming in the pan, that's the way. Looked like alot of fun, and a solid day of gathering some ono grinds. Good Going! 🤙🏼🤙🏼
Thanks bradda means a lot. So much fun! When all the partners busy working, sometimes I get a different satisfaction going solo, but like always catching is the bonus and watching my kids mop the aina provide is unreal feeling.

edit: Oh wait, nevermind. I know where that. I went there one time, but on the other side. There's a place you can walk out to a little circle cove with a flat spot. Super dangerous, never catch nothing, but was fun adventure.

Can you rent rod and reels? Don’t know how to fly with them.
Few brands make travel size rods that usually can be carried on for more peace of mind instead of checking it in. pretty sure major craft and daiwa to name a few have 4pc travel style rods.

Hows it Sing L love the assassin model. I had every model heavy, XH and XXH. I got rid of the XH because I was using it for 60-80g jigs. I decided to try the xxh with an 80g jig and was very impress with the distance. Now the XXH range for me ( depends what reel/line you have ) is 80-120g jigs and 60-80g poppers are my sweet spot running the max pe the rod is rated which is pe4. Hit me up on IG if you have one, I’ll send you to someone to get a rod.

Hows it. So this setup I’m trying out new braid which gtfightclub cArries. It’s the Shimano tanatoru in pe4. Rubline I’m running 100lb super stealth fishermen line also carried by gtfightclub. Perfect for 80-120g jigs. 60-80g lures for me 🤙🏾🤙🏾 hope this help
What size hook on the 80g?
Sorry honestly not sure what size. I just make sure the gap is bigger than the thickest part of the jig.
