Imo, the people hating dont understand that we are the play testers. Devs can test things out for years and it wouldnt come close to a week of the “world” playing. Theyll tweak the things that nees tweaked. And just because its THE new map doesnt mean it has to be the best, its different from the others.. every map has its a unique feel. That’s how it should be.
Be mindful. The generator for the bunker runs for about 30 mins. When I run back to open the next door, I refuel it. Make sure carry backpack and get the items faster, then short out in the main area. Just incase doors 1-4 close on you. Also, pull out the glow plug when done.

I've only been playing official sakhal since it came it and I've been enjoying it a lot. The only thing I don't like is how the common Jump is so drastic , go from sk and scorpion to vsd and 75rnd kam lol
The map is sweet af, i just cant find a sharpening stone or a gun cleaning kit. I see someone say that there is a max spawn amout for each item, so could all the gun cleaning kits be on people or in stashes? Love the videos dude, they have really help me accelerat my dayz progression
The only thing I’d fix on the new map is how many boats spawn. By now it’s almost impossible to join a server and find a boat on the coast because most servers have clans that have like 6-10 boats on a island that is only accessible by a boat and they only use 2 of them at any time. They hoard all the boats so that no player can access their island base and they get free rein of all the crates. They should do something ASAP to address this.
I found VSD with two mags and scope on top of a silo in Petro and everytime I loot the medical/military dock area of Rudnogorsk, I find a night vision scope. finding a PU scope is such a hassle though.
Dont think ive honestly seen anyone talking about how the mi8 wreck in Sakhal in the middle of the forest north of Nogovo spawns the same loot that the bunker spawns meaning that iZurvive has it mislabeled as a generic loot when it has an Underground tag on it.

i have been finding VSD's and AKM's at the silo structure most south of the capital, i think its a bug but hey i wont complain for a vsd with ammo and a mag
I’ve got a question I hope that you will be able to answer. I’ve recently noticed the item description for tree bark now says changes colors when submerged in water. Is it now possible to craft a type of dye using tree bark? I did some experimenting with 8/8 bark and a cooking pot to no avail. Could not find a barrel easily as I am on console. Any idea why the description says this? I know dyes can be made on modded servers but this was on official aswell I noticed the description. The server i play on has no mods and we found a LAR in one of the metal 2 story shed style building with large blue doors in the tiny room on the far side of the 2nd story. Down in Cherny Mys
LAR’s are not capable of spawning on sakhal; period. Could’ve been an official server with a cross character; but other than that it had to have been community with all weapons added.
On my 1st day playing prob over a week ago or 2 I found a tin of crab meat haven't found 1 since any ideas where they spawn or just rare? Was think would make sense in ships and the fishing junk lying round like the crab traps 🤷♂️
I love the map but the loot spawns make absolutely no sense, you can only get the 6x in police areas but there’s no western weapons besides the crates? It’s also easier to swim from Rudno to the northern islands and get a suppressed M4 than it is to find a cr527, sk, or any other “tier 2” weapon. Thanks for the loot finder tho wobo you’re a godsend
2:09 when they say loot is AWFUL. we MEAN it. lmao 1 spawning. such an abysmal loot table. Volcano will erupt and then we get the map THAWed out. Its so clear as day its going to happen.
Loving the new map but they need to seriously rebalance the loot. Way too easy to get an m79 with multiple gold tips and getting a plate carrier 5 min after spawning shouldn't be a thing. Also I miss the heli crashes, maybe they could add them just a very limited number of them and only 2 or 3 at a time possibly less. Other than those things I really can't say anything negative about the map

10 trips around the outer islands but no tactical helmet yet. Deagle and mags but no .357 ammo boxes wtf? Your map almost shows an island in the far NW but it’s not on the iZurvive map. I can see it from 0.36 0.09. Might go over there once I find the helmet.

Here´s my loot guide: Spawn, snack first player with a helmet you see. You now got knifes, ropes, bandages and some fish. Go to neighbour village and grab a Shotgun/Crossbow Go to the next military, shoot the first guy you find, you now have insulated mil clothes. Get an AK while there, find boat and head for the bunker. Snack whoever comes out of it. Congrats, you´re fully geared now. The POIs are spread out too much imho, they should make them more dense and instead make soms hand crafted interesting terrain for better base building options between Pois.

Mosins only spawn at T4 civilian spawns and T1+ hunting spawns I thought.

I've seen one boat since Sakhal dropped. Super rare.
They kinda did, just jump from ice shale to ice shale to get to the island and then break all but One boat. That usually works really well
@m27zero44 there are 2 islands which aren't connected to the mainland with the ice, you'll likely freeze to death if you attempt to swin to them

Tke AKM is no longer a gas zone weapon and can be found in the same places as the vss

I found m4a1 and dmr in the military crates on mpak island 8 so that has to be higher tier and also on island 9

The small villages in the middle of the map spawn them relatively frequently and I've seen them at the fairground at capitol.
They're all over the villages in the center of the main island. Don't skip the tool sheds. Check everything.
