    Crazy to see that Velocifire has went from budget gaming keyboards into the enthusiast side of keyboards

    Yeah the name hope is definitely like you said “a sailor in a bad storm, near death. They see a lighthouse and it gives them hope they may make it to land to see another day.”

    i love how Design is a part of this review. Designs will begin to become a focus in future custom kits so we should start dedicating some time to critique them now. quality review as always

    Decent review but incomplete without the foam comparisons. I get it takes work but that’s why we watch these reviews, to get a good insight on what the board is capable off. Hopefully next time better. Thanks

    Curious why you didn't add the PE/EVA foams in your builds. It's a review video and I wanted to know how EVA and PE foam builds sound with this board.
    Is it because you despise and loathe the usage of these?

    Great stuff as always, would have liked to hear the different pcb foams as well. But considering it looks like a nightmare to put together/take apart over and over.. I get it lol. We kind of all know what the pcb foam sounds like at this point.

    this keyboard is from Pharos Studios not Velocifire. Let’s give credit where it’s due. VF is just the vendor. PS is new in the game and I think they deserve some recognition. sorry but this review could’ve been bit more in-depth there are so many foams that comes with the kit. You didn’t really go through any of them.

    not the point of the video but first time I think I've seen blue samurai on a board. It is way duller than I expected it to be color wise. Sad, was thinking of picking it up but I guess I'll go with the red set instead.

    So to sum it up the board is below average for its price without the foam. And you also need all the foam for it to sound good?

    • @TheBoredPersons
      @TheBoredPersons 2 года назад +1

      The bottom foam is needed to keep the pcb from bottoming out on the case, it sounds great with just that, this review was pretty half assed imo compared to other reviewers who went into depth more, coming back to this video im sad to say this was lazy

    I very like this board. But 510€ is expesive. And with all the extra Plates etc. so i can test what ist the best combo it gets to over 770€ 😵‍💫. Also wating until the end of the Year for shipping... ahhhhhhh!
    I could also get an Q1 with extra plates for 200€. An it also has an knob. But no cool weight or an Rgb bar.
    So it should be the way more responsible option?
    Yes, but Keychron doesnt ship to my country. 😐

    • @dannylee8775
      @dannylee8775 2 года назад

      you don’t need all the extra plates. PC plate is just fine. you can just get the standard version for 350. Considering the quality its worth the money. if money is a huge factor GMMK pro is not a bad option if you want something higher quality than keychron

    • @swissix4947
      @swissix4947 2 года назад

      @@dannylee8775 I dont like the Gmmk.
      If i have the option i take all the plates. Just to try them out. Now i have a stone hard board. But the base board costs at the eu vendor over 400. Nearly as much as the pvd schuld cost.
      Keychron Quality schould be fine.
      I think i go with the q1. Going from a Fiat straight to a Lambo is not responsible.
      Only problem now is that Keychron for watever reason wont ship to my country.

    6:49 I guess it IS a bit odd that both the studio and the keyboard have distinct lighthouse logos. I thought it was because of the whole Pharos/Alexandria thing, but 0:44 showed the studio has its own symbol. Weird.

    • @d-floe

      pretty sure velocifire's gonna release a video comparing a bunch of configs. I think the lack of PE foam is whats hurting this sound test here. no variety in sound tests despite the large variety in configurations.

      @@d-floe I didn’t even notice that on my first watch! He never shows the unboxing of the foam bag so I’m not sure if he didn’t get the 2-3 pcb foams or just chose not to use them.
