Very nice! If i´m right you pay a lot of attention to hand position and fingering. That´s a good investment because it´s easy to get sloppy, especially with nobody sitting next to you correcting.
Your progress is inspiring. I'm also in my 30s starting to learn the piano. I have two questions, if you dont mind answering: 1. Do you have a piano teacher? 2. Which Yamaha model are you playing on? Sounds full and nicely balanced
Hi, thank you for reaching out. I have a clp775 and I love it. No, I don’t have a piano teacher. I had 3 classes early on but it didn’t work for me. If you search Reddit for “thoughts for year one self-taught pianists” I wrote extensively about my beginner methods.
I suggest you don’t compare with anyone. Enjoy playing the instrument for what it is, it’s between you and it and that’s it.if you want ideas about improving as a beginner, I wrote my experience on Reddit if you search “thoughts for year one self-taught pianists”.
