You got to love Michigan highway patrol.... Hundreds of millions of dollars in their budget and they're still using the light dome from Smokey and the bandit.
Well..in Finland and some other Nordic countries the fine is based on how much money you make. So for rich people a speeding ticket can be tens of thousands of dollars.
It's the points on their licenses that would get them. They're realistically paying like 1000 bucks per ticket for a lawyer so they can beat it instead.
+Frank Burns I know it's complicated, but in most of North America, there is no law that says you can't travel in the left lane. You are only required to move right if you are being overtaken.
+Frank Burns It has nothing to do with signage. Read your State/Provincial traffic act and State/Provincial Transportation Authority regulations. You will find no law to the effect you mention in *most* States/Provinces. I've had this confirmed by a Paralegal for the Province of Ontario. I have, however, read somewhere that many of the States are expected to make travelling in the left lane a federal offence, which would be a good thing. I believe it is currently a moving violation in something like 7 States, and I assume you must reside in one of them. The other 43 have no such law. As for your example of slamming on your brakes in front of a semi, there is no law preventing you from making an emergency stop. If the semi hits you after doing so, it is 100% the semi's fault for following too closely. Cutting into the truck's buffer zone and THEN slamming on the brakes is a different story, as that is an improper lane change and probably also a careless driving charge. Besides, I've never heard of someone making an emergency stop "for no reason". It is the following vehicles responsibility to ensure they have ample space to stop, regardless of why. "Common sense" and "courtesy" have no bearing on law, whatsoever, as they are considered interpretations of law, which is the duty of a JP, not private citizens.. In fact, many things people consider driving "courtesies" are illegal in Ontario, such as waving someone through traffic out of a private roadway (impersonating a traffic authority) or backing off to let someone squeeze into your lane *from the right* (improper use of passing lane). It may surprise you to find that YOUR interpretations of traffic laws have ZERO weight in court.

Speeding is dangerous? Explain how the autobahn has a lower death rate than the thruway system in the United States that has speed limits? Want to lower death rates on our thruway? make it illegal to drive in the left lane unless passing and eliminate speed limits. Problem solved. They wouldn't need to weave in and out of traffic if this country would enforce the slow poke laws and heavily ticket assholes that drive slow in the left lane! Think it's acceptable to drive slow in the left lane? Wear a shirt that says that so people purposely walk slow in front of you and prevent you from moving any faster...ten bucks says you will start complaining real quick.
+Ripped Camel The problem here is people are largely unaware that they are required by law to move to the right when being overtaken by faster traffic. People that do the exact speed limit (or lower) in the left lane think they are improving safety and do not realize that they are the leading cause of collisions in North America.
michigan's no joke. my license is revoked denied. That means it is a lifetime suspension. Still drive anyway, what are they going to do suspend it more, lol.

Lol, it is law in Michigan, however almost all states require that you possess a license while driving. You can actually call your state DMV and have them wave their right to possess your license till fine is paid.
+annoythedonkey They live in states that don't have reciprocity and get the tickets out of state. They pay the ticket and it never goes on their license in the state they live in.

Many times in 50 years driving a Porsche I have been pulled over for speeding. Many of those times I wasn't speeding.. #1 , I was within 6 miles of the speed limit, BUT, I was in a RED Porsche 911.and the Police Officer stated " you probably speed anyway" . WRONG ! I watch my speed! Kicked out in court! #2 I was about 5th in a convoy of about 8 / 10 cars on the I 285 in Atlanta, Ga freeway Police Officer pulls up beside me and directs me to pull over. I ask why? He stated "your driving a Red Porsche" Enough Said. #3 I WAS SPEEDING on I 285 to Northside Hospital in MY RED PORSCHE, in Atlanta, Ga as my 1st born nephew was dying. This wonderful Officer gave me an escort w/ lights to the hospital. I got there in time for his last breaths. Thank You Sir ! I just wish I had got your name! GOD Bless You SIR !!
I love youtube videos of cops, this ensures people see how the cops really act and keep these cops in check. A cop acts differently when he knows he's being filmed over no evidence, especially if the video evidence isn't being controlled by the cop. Cameras, a cops kryptonite.
As someone who grew up in NJ and dealt with his share of a$$hole state troopers there...I must point out that this video is pretty darn accurate as far as PA State Police go...they tend to be very nice and laid back folks. They might not always give you a break, but at least for me my experiences with them have always been as pleasant as they can be given the situation. Not to mention that enforcement in PA is generally very lax....great state for speeders. :) Now watch part 4 if you want to get a taste of what NJ troopers are like...
I moved to Pennsylvania from New Jersey about six years ago and it is night and day . The Pennsylvania troopers are very cool they don't pull anybody over. If you're not driving like a complete jackass they leave you alone here . IDrive about 3500 miles a year on the Pennsylvania Turnpike and do 80 miles an hour consistently every day and have never been pulled over and very rarely see anybody pulled over . As long as you're not driving crazy and not speeding in a school zone or a construction zone they pretty much leave you alone they are very very cool here
+TheDct88 That's a staple of Michigan State Police. You get tired of looking at those things pretty quick especially when you see them every 2 miles every day.
So I'm confused how these gentlemen can constantly get tickets with no arrests or license suspension. Cause mine sure as hell has been suspended. Could someone please enlighten me?
Sigh, though money is involved (they have to pay the tickets), it is not the reason they don't get in greater trouble. Certain states do not count out-of-state traffic violations as points on your license. However like Emilean Cailean said, Rob has had his license suspended before (mentioned in Best Cop Moments 5). Also, a Radar detector is an excellent investment, unless of course you live in the only state that deems them illegal....(VA, where I live).
That was in Michigan. Definitely looked like a bribe to me. I had cash for my first ticket (Careless driving, 3 points and I think $250-$350) on me and they said I had to go pay it at the courthouse.

I was thinking about the same thing. Here in Brazil if you get like 3 speeding tickets in a year you lose your driver's license.
How is his license not revoked?
+walker h Out of state tickets don't go on your license if you pay them in time
Todd Allen unless if you are from New York State
+Todd Allen good to know. lol
Not true... except for Ontario and Quebec... which is odd. dmv.ny.gov/tickets-received-another-state
Sven Straessle www.autoblog.com/2010/11/28/out-of-state-speeding-ticket/
I am talking from experience.
michigan's no joke. my license is revoked denied. That means it is a lifetime suspension. Still drive anyway, what are they going to do suspend it more, lol.
what the heck do even do to get your license suspended for life lol ?!?!
Travis Greer It involved drugs and a high speed chase.
DirtyPlastic your fucking awesome OnO
DirtyPlastic
u should be proud of urself
killzone wyborowa Biggest mistake of my life.
This is the best series on RUclips. You can go back and re watch these periodically and they will still bring you joy
Your encounter with a Michigan cop was pretty chill. I got pulled out of my car for doing 55 in a 50 zone. I was respectful af when he pulled me over too😂
I got pulled over just now, doing 50 in a 30. All I did was smile when given the ticket and was respectful. The cop was chill tho.
They can get an Escort but I can't get a text back
Was that last cop actually on his phone :D
Not ME There might not have been a law against it in that state on that period of time
Yeah, but it was in 2006. There weren’t laws against phones back then. It’s still a dumb thing to do.
1:35 "I'm not gonna find any of this stuff on the internet am I?"
"Nah it goes straight to home video"
WHOOPS
“I was not aware of that law so... I’ll take the ticket.” Atleast the mans honest 😂
if you're gonna get a whole bunch of tickets you may as well do 150 and get one big ticket 😂
a gay cow you can actually go to jail for reckless driving so not a good idea
150 sends you to jail and gets your car impounded
Vast lmao, some people on this have gotten 170+ tickets. It all depends on the cop and if they know
California is pretty nice. Got a ticket a couple weeks ago going 120 in a 65, in the carpool lane. He wrote it for 95
Must be nice to be this rich. I cringe every time there's a cop behind me and I don't speed often.
Jew
I just had to re-watch these episodes. This is what made me subscribe to your channel. You all were nuts back then, and I'm so surprised I didn't run across yall driving through Michigan. I can imagine how much those tickets were OMG 🤣😂 good stuff 👏🏽
3:03 Im pretty sure thats illegal.
Ta-Tumbs xd
Nope it’s a law
Lol, it is law in Michigan, however almost all states require that you possess a license while driving. You can actually call your state DMV and have them wave their right to possess your license till fine is paid.
Officer: "I'm not gonna find this online am I?"
Rob: "No this goes straight to home video"
Well that didn't age well... lol
"See you in a little bit" LMAO
LMFAO IM CRACKING UP AT WHEN HE GOT PULLED OVER BY THE SAME COP TWICE AND HE SAID “see ya in a little bit” after giving him the citation
How do you get so many tickets also how do you still have a license?
+annoythedonkey They live in states that don't have reciprocity and get the tickets out of state. They pay the ticket and it never goes on their license in the state they live in.
Oatsmon thanks
+Oatsmon That, and I believe they put this on their Company Insurance through Gotham Dream Cars, but I could be wrong. I know that, if this was MY insurance, they'd drop me after 3 or 4, lol. So I can't imagine that it's personal insurance. It has to be through the company.
Vladpryde I almost wonder if he doesn't pay one of those companies that fight tickets or get them dropped My mom had a friend that was a trucker and he mentioned it to me a time or two and said they were a real life saver!
"Here's your copy of the warning card, have a nice day."
"Thanks, see you in a bit."
did they bribe the cop at 03:00 ??? :0
No. They payed their ticket up front
+Daniel Wilson no way what state is this? we need this in California! !!
+jeffrey aguilar I think this is Michigan
+Daniel Wilson thats awesome almost as cool as mexicos corrupt cops were you can literally get out of anything ,money talks
+jeffrey aguilar Yeah, that second thing you said was the dumbest thing I've read in days.
This has to be the 8th time I’ve watched the entire best cop moments series all over again
Cops on his bloody phone thats hilarious, yet you get pulled over for not switching lanes...
they're humans too man lol, you see a car like that and you want to take a picture.
+Chris Castrejon Maybe wait till a red light?
honestly, would you?
+Chris Castrejon He doesn't work with law enforcement so he isn't held to higher standards. And he would be pulled over and fined for it so don't even try it. I get your they are only human angle but it isn't really a valid point.
I didn't see any blood on it.....
insurance must be through the roof
Like they care
with the amount of lawyers they have I highly doubt they paid for most those tickets
that's what the convertibles are for.
1:57 could they have found a bigger light?
Michigan state police....don't say much...
Best video ever! Rich people getting money taken from them!!
LMAO it's the equivilant of me taking 5 bucks you dropped in the ground going "hahaah stealing from the rich"
***** which is why we need to have tickets based on a % of your annual Net income. Like Germany does... hence you get a $10,000 speeding ticket. :)
Vroktar2009
I prefer America's laws that favor the wealthy. :-)
Vroktar2009 Then go live in Germany. Our laws don't favor anyone. Life does.
Vroktar2009 that's just dumb though. We don't have audobahns where you can speed at 100+ miles per hour safely like these guys try to do.
1:57 is that a can of coffee on the police car roof?
"See ya in a little bit" lol
The first cop was the coolest cop I’ve ever seen, definitely nicer than any cop that’s pulled me over 😂
"I'm not gonna find any of this stuff on the internet, am I?"
"See ya in a little bit"
Had me rolling
Different times man, different times. Kinda sad when you compare
Blame the liberal media for that
I love youtube videos of cops, this ensures people see how the cops really act and keep these cops in check. A cop acts differently when he knows he's being filmed over no evidence, especially if the video evidence isn't being controlled by the cop. Cameras, a cops kryptonite.
that radar detector shit itself
LMAO
As long as you're not driving crazy and not speeding in a school zone or a construction zone they pretty much leave you alone they are very very cool here
They'll never pull you for 80 or under. I've gotten pulled for 83 & 84 but they're still cool about it and will knock it down right away or in court.
It can be bullshit sometimes. You pay over $150,000 to get your dream car only to get harassed by the law.
i love how rob smiles as he gets tickets goals for sure
10:57 nice! a cop driving with a phone in one hand 😂
do they rake up points with these tickets?
in some states, and i assume the one they do this in, you can choose to pay more instead of racking up points
***** bit more like thousands, haha... but yeah, same
This name is either restricted, too long, or contains too many invalid characters. OHIO is WORSE for getting tickets
look at the size of that bloody siren
+TheDct88 Lol sirens make noise. That's a light. Just saying.
its a Michigan thing i live there
+TheDct88 That's a staple of Michigan State Police. You get tired of looking at those things pretty quick especially when you see them every 2 miles every day.
these videos will forever be gold
First cop was great! We need more like him.
Germany here, this is hilarious.
So I'm confused how these gentlemen can constantly get tickets with no arrests or license suspension. Cause mine sure as hell has been suspended. Could someone please enlighten me?
Dont you know murder is legal if you can pay cash for it??? Duh
Wanted to add that im not against these guys i was just saying you can get away with anything with enough green
Emilian Cailean do you know what he does for a living? just curious lol
Emilian Cailean thanks!
When i need a laugh i just come back and watch all these videos and loose my shit. 😂😂😂
i laughed so hard during this video. best one yet superspeedersrob
How in the heck to you afford or even get insurance with that many tickets....WOW
Awesome videos, subbed.
if you own a 90K-200,000K car, chances are a 200 dollar ticket is like 5 bucks in our pockets
I'm not talking about the ticket...I'm asking about the insurance rates that go up, and stay up.
Joseph Jimenez rice rocket ? Who has a rice rocket ? I hope your not talking about robs $200,000 corvette . Dumbass
YOU GIVE HIM 100 BUCKS? LOL
David Lewis some states you can pay the ticket up front right when they pull you over
Pineda Pro is this for real?
Pineda Pro I'd be screwed because I don't ever carry cash with me. Only my MasterCard.
8 years later and I’m wishing to see more of this
they're in Michigan. I know them state troopers
Pennsylvania. They have keystone pins on their uniforms.
Both. The video is cut together from different incidents.
And it said Kalamazoo county on the cop car haha
they're in Connecticut in the opening of the video
10:16 LOL "see ya in a little bit"
What camera did you have Rob? It looks like early 1990s video! I expected to see lambo diablos and you bumping sir mix alot!
I'd like to be the first to thank you for funding police departments across America.
if I were driving 1 of those cars, I wouldn't even bother stopping.
And that mark of poor critical thinking thinking is why you won’t have the chance
2:59 did he accept a bribe?
No in some states you can pay the fine on the spot so you don't have to go to court
those cops must be rich making money on the side
anonymous anon In certain states If you live out of state you can so you don't have to come back to go to court
That was in Michigan. Definitely looked like a bribe to me. I had cash for my first ticket (Careless driving, 3 points and I think $250-$350) on me and they said I had to go pay it at the courthouse.
@2:09 is that even an legal state trooper Cruiser?.. it has that oldfashion beacon on his roof i'snt that old as hell?
even the new cars have that. that's their thing
i'm feel bad for my english.. i'm not from the states as you can see.. You pauper
+anoniem1725 The US isn't the only country that speaks English.
+The0riginal William actually "an" is used phonetically. As in the word sounds like it starts with a vowel. For instance you would say "an heirloom" or "a opossum". JS.
You would say "an opossum" since the vowel is silent. Just look it up, like I said "an" is used phonetically.
Last cop doing great service for the community wish more videos like that
