I actually missed most of The Cell Saga. I started watching when American Dragonball was new. Seeing the episodes was a matter of tuning in at the right time. My folks had this annoying habit of grabbing the TV Guide as soon as it arrived. I usually did not know where it was.

It took so many years to get back for piccolo with all the saves he done for gohan. I think piccolo knows at that moment of when gohan did protect him in the tournament of power that gohan doesn't need to be protected anymore but stand by him instead.

Goku turning super sayian for the first time. Kuwabara fake dying to toguro so Yusuke can access his spirit energy, and then in return when he died so his team could experience that pain and access greater heights. Yu Yu
People do like to shit on Piccolo for choosing to stand in front of Gohan instead of grabbing him and getting out of the way, but if you look at the width of the attack from the way the ground is razed, it's not that hard to realize there was no time for that. I mean, flying is a thing, but...ehh.
