Tuning it a half-step down really gave that bass drone more twang and raw, acoustic quality not heard in an electric bass guitar. Everything weeps. But the hope is in the player's smile and serenity. George must truly be proud of this.

Beatles is my favorite band and that's not any kind of news to a lot of people... Nothing unique and I know many share the same feeling towards the band... For me is related to part of my childhood (I'm only 38)... I really do admit though... It's been a while since I didn't listened to a Beatles song... So when I listened to this, I've got emocional and remembering my past I've understood again why the band is such a magical journey to many, like me.... Thank you for this amazing piece... This melody shows that the songs of the beatles are still 'alive' and relevant to the 'current' generation. Paul McCartney and John Lennon composed many excellent songs with 'good melodies' and harmony. Some of the modulations and harmonies are very advanced. We will probably still be listening to beatles songs long into the future. How many 'popular' songs will actually 'stand the test of time'? Good melodies and good structure and good harmony will always 'stand the test of time'.
