I cannot get my trunk to close due to damage in my rear bumper, and the latch doesn’t appear to be damaged. Do you have any suggestions to get the trunk closed?
I'm trying to take a dent that's on the rear bumper, driver side, right at the corner/curve of it. Do you think I can access it with what you took out of the trunk? Thanks for the helpful video!
If it’s the bumper cover just loosen the bumper cover and push it out. If it’s the rear body panel you might be able to access some of it from the inside of the trunk depends on where the damage is.
@@j-flow617it is just the bumper cover, but was curious if I would have access without having to drop the cover and just through the trunk. Thanks for the feedback!
that clip on the corner of the bumper behind the rear wheel is tight as fukk. Very difficult to remove the first time. To anyone who watches this video later, you have to wedge two credit cards between the fender and the bumper, put a wood block on top of the cards, and hammer down the wood block. Little by little, the gap will widen, and the clip will finally come loose. Why the fk did toyota use such a tight clip?! that one clip in the corner could hold up the bumper alone without any bolts.
Love the simple, straightforward approach! No nonsense, just clean, clear instructions. Thank you so much!
You're welcome!
Thanks bro, easy to understand, no loud music, no crap talk.

Is it the same process for. ES330 of the same year
About the same
Where can I get replacement clips after breaking them off, or what are they called ?
If you type in Toyota bumper cover replacement clips on Amazon you’ll be able to find the ones you need.
