Beautiful story and beautiful family! I have down syndrome too. No doubt in my mind that God has great plans in store for him and he will grow up to be a wonderful successful man. I pray for all the good things that will happen in his life. God bless this wonderful beautiful family
You mean you have down syndrome? Who wrote for you this, I mean are you fully educated? Do down syndrome go to normal school? My daughter is 3 months now and have it thats why I have concern
I was 19 and my husband was 21 when our son was born. He is 32 now and such a blessing! I am so glad he chose us to be his parents .. Enjoy the journey!!!!
I love this story!! It is so true about the great love and compassion that people with down syndrome have. If everyone in this world could learn a thing or two from them, it would be to smile, love and care for others. You're lucky to have such an awesome child!!! ♥🍀💪⭐
Wells is a beautiful loving child that brings joy to all, and his hugs are life changing there family is very lucky. You go little man we all love you. SJ
We found out my son would have downs fairly early in the pregnancy. The first question the doctor asked is if we’d like to abort. We love the Lord and we know this wasn’t an option. My son will be 4 in September and he lights up literally every room he enters. God is using my son to bring joy to others. Nothing short of a blessing through adversity is makes the entire family strong. There are no better human beings on earth than those with Down’s syndrome.
I just love downs babies. I know several. The have the sweetest natures, and are so loving. I looked after a little girl many years ago now, and even now, whenever I see her, it's the biggest hug and the biggest smile.😍
This is absolutely amazing! My newborn son has DS and we were horrified to hear this in the tests. Little did we know, it’s been a blessing for us. We thank God for the wonderful gift and couldn’t be happier. He has made my family love one another more and brings happiness and joy.! We are lucky that he chose us as family ❤
Me and my girl found out that our twins may be affected we’re devastated. What kind of Down syndrome does your child have. Ourss tested for trisomy 21.
Tbh I want children and my fiance once asked if i would still love our child if it was born with downs or something like that. 1000 Percent yes I would. Every person and child Ive met with downs is the embodiment of a ray of sunshine. Gentle, innocent, kind and full of love to give, people with downs really are beautiful.
You did hit a jackpot…God only sends those little angels to us because we are the ones that can and will cherish them forever… I have a baby brother he is 55 has a mind of a three-year-old💖💞now they told my parents that he would never be able to walk or talk that by the time he was nine months old he would pass away… WELL he is self-sufficient he walks talks and also is bilingual… God is a mighty God is all the time and that’s who we need to praise and thank our heavenly father for the Angels that we do receive from him…AMEN
Oakley and Welles were the first people I found online this was the first video I found when I was pregnant with my son! Now my son is eight and thriving and the light of my life he pushes his sibling to be fearless and bold aswell as to love unconditionally and he is destined to be a comidan when he grows up ...his timing and delivery of a sarcastic joke is impeccable ! 😂 I still follow this mom in the video and I have loved seeing welles and his siblings grow and following their journey in life ❤
I found a thin little book in a junk shop about 30 years ago. A lady had printed her journal about her new adopted baby girl with downs. I have no idea why I picked it up but it was such a sweet sometimes sad story of their day to day lives with her. What was unique was it was written by Dale Evans. Wife of Roy Rogers.I don’t think people knew much about it back then as it was in the 1940’s I think. I wish more moms of these kids could read that little book. It’s very up lifting & I still have to re-read it from time to time. If you ever want to find it it’s called “Angel Unaware” ❤
I have a child with downs. I wouldn’t change her for the world. If there was a cure then I still wouldn’t take it. People with downs are amazing. Unfortunately some people don’t think so and I guess you can put them in the same category as people that don’t like blacks, asians, Americans, muslims, Jews ect…. The great thing is that we can all change our thoughts on people and embrace people that might “appear” different to the typical type of person.
Be proud of him I gave birth a month ago my 4th child my labor was short and fast after delivery the nurse told me your baby has features of down syndrome I was totally shocked because during pregnancy scan was normal . I took genetic test at a hospital the results came and they said he has extra chromosome my husband and I was really devastated but alhamdulillah I trust God . I'm proud of my son no matter what his perfect and blessing love him

That’s what happens if mainstream media glorifies an extremely severe genetic disorder like Trisomy 21. Low IQ people tend to be ignorant and decide to get defective children. That’s why prenatal testing should be mandatory. People should know that DS is incompatible with a productive life and that by age 50 most develop severe Alzheimer’s and suffer tremendously. America is going downhill with its dysgenic policies and abortion bans. Who will take care of the elderly and ill, if everyone is becoming genetically inferior? Societal collapse looms.
I hope someday in the future, medical science will advanced enough to remove the extra chromosome that causes Down's Syndrome and cure this disability. Live long and prosper.
Yes 100% my youngest has Down syndrome we call it up syndrome cause she’s always up in her love happiness and just up in giving so much love to everyone around her she is truly a blessing and I wouldn’t change her for the world ❤❤❤
So many DS babies never live to see the light of day because they are usually aborted, and the precious gift of their life, all the joy, encouragement, comfort that they always inevitably bring, it is their gift; all of their potential is snuffed out in abortion If only the parents knew that they destroying the greatest gift of joy and consolation that they could ever hope to receive, if only they could see past the mirage of lies, embarrassment, shame, fear, to the bounty of sweetness and beauty and irrepressible joy that could be theirs, if only they had the wisdom and courage to see
What a beautiful and very true comment!!!!! My little sister has Down's (well I say (little) She is 42 now and back then my Mother had her when testing for Down Syndrome wasn't available as it is today. (Early 80s). She is and always will be an absolute blessing to Me and My Family. She has bought so much happiness and joy to my family through some very troubled times. Having growing up with a Violent Father, who would hit our Mother, let's just say she was ALWAYS the only one out of us 6 children who always so very bravely had the courage to stand up to him and would shake her finger at him and scold him for what he was doing. She is our true hero and I am very proud to have her as my sister!!!!!!.
as a brothrer of a cute down syndrome i agree i also dont understand why people look down on down syndrome i mean they are humans but have to be teached how to talk thats it i dont know why people dont like that
how old is the mother? I want to hear her opinion if she is 70+ but still has to care for a eternal child. Yes there is a small possibility that her child will be independent but most of them will require help forever.
guess what my parents still help me from time to time, (I need document x do you remember where it could be?). I still ask them for advice but most things I do on my own like finding a job, home and so on. Therefore I am more or less capable of living without them. While some parents want to take care for their entire life there comes a time when they cant do it any longer. Most parents die before the children so who takes care of the child once the parents are dead? Most adults live sooner or later without their parents but how many downies can live without help?
Why do you care about anybody else's opinion. You seem to have yours already made up. When you get old who is going to take care of you? If your children can't they will just put you in a nursing home and wait until you die. If family doesn't take care of you then nobody else will.
He’s got siblings... he will be just fine. Teaching SPED made me realize how tight a family unit is when there is a child with Downs. He will be taken care of.
May YAH [God] bless and keep you and your family, Sweet Little Boy. ❣👶❣ And give you his Peace. And fortitude for your mama to take care of you. ❣🤱❣ May you grow from strength to strength. ❣❣❣❣

You make no sense. If God doesn't make mistakes, than he gives us the babies for a reason. Grow up and get some empathy. You sound like a psychopath. You the one with the problem, not people with down syndrome. I bet you were mean as hell to your brother. And of he was hateful than it was learned from somebody.

you don't get test while you were pregnant?
Thats what I’m wondering too. If they dont do amniocentisis to confirm it, they probably at least could confirn what are the odds of having it.

Wonderful wonderful wonderful ❤
Midwives in the 1930's killed Downes babies and told he mother the child was still born.

Why say a comment like that? Are you really that insensitive? If soo look internal before you look external. God bless.
