To be fair these are all pretty solid signings. And as an Everton fan them getting Yoro means we get to keep Branthwaite. Worked out great!!

Martinez and Varane were barely fit all last season and Amrabat was played at left back lol United had zero defence but tbf on Onana he played well after a few howlers in Europe and Amraat was key in winning United a trophy in the end

yeah i think people gave them too much blame. Last season for Man Utd was the same kind of defensive crisis as Liverpool had when they barely got CL football when everyone expected them to challenge for the title, or the time Man City lost the title to Liverpool. Both had to be seriously creative to cover up the positions in defense. Last season was still bad for Utd but you cant blame them quite as much because of the huge amount of injuries

I'm not scared at all by Utd bcause they're biggest issue wasn't the players, but Ten hag himself. His leadership is poor & his tactics leave Utd's midfield so exposed that Ugarte will barely do anything.
Casemiro had his worst season in probably his whole career leaving the defence adrift, we played more than 15 back 4 combinations because of injury, our forwards were allergic to scoring, our best CB played barely 10 games, our fit defenders kept dropping back against the instructions of Ten Hag because they have the combined age of an ancient Egyptian curse and can’t pass the ball progressively, the wingers were greedy and consistently lost the ball on the counter trying to score instead of giving it to the best finisher on the team last season in Hojlund, and our keeper dropped an album of clangers at the beginning of the season and Uniteds biggest problem is Ten Hag?😂
@@ukuthulakhumalo6288 go and watch any FourFourTwo video on Utd from last season and you'll clearly see how Utd's midfield was left completely exposed by Ten Hag's tactics. Casemiro was part of the problem, but the space that the midfield has to cover is far too big even for someone like Ugarte to cover.

It's a process so in 3 years we'd expect more squad players who fit the style. You cannot do everything in one window.

Banishing Yoro to the reserves was their last card to play and it can be effective if you've got a manager and board who are bloody-minded enough to follow through even at the expense of league placement. It wouldn't have effected his price tag much because he would have been available for nada next summer. That's why Lille were desperate to offload him. Yoro might have been afraid that such a drop in exposure might have cost him the chance to make the French national team for 2026. Maybe that's why he decided to go with what Lille wanted. And Real likely wanted him to see out his contract and come to them for nada.
Selling Greenwood and Van der Beek are probably the best bit of business.

I don't think any of us are worried or excited.. This is the first season since Fergie left where real change has been made at the core of the club.. They are showing us positive things like early transfers æ, buying young talents insted of 30+ names, starting planning to fix old Trafford, Carrington etc.. This can pan out.. Eventually Or it will be more of the same..
I really wish United had gone for Southgate so I don't have to worried about all the talented signings

Cavani Varane and Casemiro were all class in their first season but were all 30+ years old so obviously there was going to be a drop off sooner or later no matter what club they’re at.
Varane was always overated and couldn't stay healthy, cavani was well past his best. And di Maria was way to lazy and couldn't deal with more physical play. Yes he looked great in weak leagues like in Spain and France

Im sorry, but i wouldn't start getting hyped yet. Zirkee literally scored 11 goals all season, and that wasn't due to lack of chances. Theres a reason guys like Milan refused to pay 55mil for him. Hes not a prolific forward, and arguably worse than Holjund in all aspects bar dribbling maybe. Yoro also had literally 1 above average season, hes young so yes theres great potential, but the last thing he needs is to be thrown to the sharks immediately. We dont exactly have a great track record of that with young defenders. Ugarte is the 1 signing who can probably make an immediate positive impact, hes an exciting signing. Yoro is not experienced enough in a tough league yet to start, and Zirzkee wasnt even good enough to play in the Holland 11. Hes a better signing than the overrated Sesko, but still overpriced for a goal return worse than Scammaca...
I disagree with you on Zirkzee being not good enough to play in the Netherlands 11. I think he is, but he's just not getting played because Koeman relies too much on a broken Memphis Depay.

Zirkee had his best ever season he isn't great to be honest, he's a target man but is well behind someone weghorst. Bayern gave up on him early for a reason

Netherlands start with a past it depay(who isn't a striker) and weghorst as his backup and unlike the others positions Netherlands have no good strikers if he was half decent he would start but he isnt

Well, Manchester United are waiting on sales to bring in Vanderson, Ferdi Kadıoğlu, Mattias de Ligt or Jarrad Branthwaite, and/or Ivan Toney. There are rumours of big money transfer of Joao Neves. I am sure we won't go anyone over 25 years of age thou, otherwise we would have signed someone like Ross Barkley or James Rodriguez.
