I’ve been a Brighton fan all my life, what you didn’t mention was 25 years ago we were basically one kick away from being out the football leagues, 15 years ago we didn’t have a stadium, my first ever game I saw a 0-0 with Wrexham in league one when the players came out of a caravan, last year I watched us in Europe beat Ajax home & away, we are so lucky to have Tony bloom, no owners sit in the stands home/away, bloom does, when we played in France the flights were delayed, Tony put his hand in his pocket and paid for busses to go to the airport, Paul barber as well, what a man. it has been frustrating watching the likes of, bissouma, Moises, white, Marc, all go, even though it’s for huge money that doesn’t really mean anything to the fans, until this transfer window. £210 million net spend, and we are still in profit. We are so lucky to have a fan as an owner, thanks for doing a video on the club I love and support!

Brighton have been spending so much this season because Bloom knew that in the 24/25 season, a lot of big clubs will face PSR issues and will be limited in their spending power. If they lost that game they would have folded if i remember properly. Seeing them in the Premier League right now just amazes me. One result away from not existing anymore to mainstays at the top table, incredible.
Brighton represents everything I love about football, what they have done totally goes against what these huge money infused clubs have done to get to the top. As a Leeds fan i wish them every bit of success!
The owner knows how to do business thats why the team itself hasnt imploded and is able to keep itself self sufficient and still be competitive at the highest level of english football.
I’m a Man Utd fan & even though I’m bitter about the result, which wasn’t all that fair, I think they’ve managed to build a proper squad after getting skinned by the top clubs. Their new manager seems really promising, they looked incredibly organized in defense & their counter attack game is impressive. I hope they can get a good finish, especially over Newcastle.
I dont support Brighton, but they have to he my second favourite team in England and have my upmost respect Ps: I honestly hope they don't stop because with all the dodgy dealing the big clubs around the world it would be nice for a team like Brighton to succeed
Don't forget Brighton have a huge wealthy catchment area and a massive fan base. I have seen Brighton take 10000 away to Newcastle, massive crowds in the old third division and don't forget they did play in the top flight in the seventies and eighties.
I remember getting 30,000 plus crowds in the old 3rd division. Fans matched on the owners home when he was going to sell the Goldstone Ground with very little warning. We trust Tony Bloom and call me daft but in the next 10 years under him we will win the champions league.
I remember you getting 2000 in league 1. You don't have a massive fan base, and you've only ever been in the top flight for about 10 years in your entire history. Brighton are in reality a mid table league 1 club punching way above their weight
@bobroofdancer not a palace fan either just stating the obvious, brighton have only been in the top division for about 12 seasons in their history. They're enjoying some relative success now but to make out they're some big club with a great history is just not true
Brighton today feels like the Everton of the early 90s under Moyes. A top 8 Club , a solid established organization able to develop players before moving them off for a tidy sum to keep the lights on, the ownership happy and treats the fans to some sweet giant killing from time to time. Love it.
Here in Argentina we have a similar team called "Defensa y Justicia" who earned promotion around 2013(I think) and have been winning a lot and have an identity, Lisandro Martinez came from that club.
The last 10 years has been one hell of a journey & it still keeps getting better. I still pinch myself sometimes when i look how far we've come & I'll never take it for granted, especially when i think back to losing our ground & then playing in that awful athletics stadium at Withdean.
Brighton makes me happy because as a west brom fan (west brom were doing good in the prem for 9 years) they make me have hope that we as a smaller club could do the same

As a brighton fan, I feel very honored to have an unreal scouting program. We've had a brilliant transfer window signing some very talented youngsters. We're going for top 6 again this season.
Thanks Vizeh. Video really shows that us small clubs really have a shot of achieving something great if run well enough. Cheers mate top 2 for sure for Brighton 😎🥶🥶🥶
Their transfer policy is unbelievable. Lowest average age in the premier league, moving players on following successful seasons but they always have palpable players waiting for an opportunity. Re-investing in unproven talents usually pays off.
Well done . Excellent summation of my team. It all starts at the top and when you have Tony Bloom as that guy then your onto a winner. Exciting times ahead and it's been a roller coaster for a good few years now. UTA.
I’m so glad you’ve mentioned Tony bloom is the heartbeat of this club because it’s so true. His planning is immense. One thing about Brighton that people seem to forget or not focus on it isn’t just about the players coming in. It’s the development. It’s the huge loan Tony gave to Brighton for the best of the best in terms of stadiums and facilities. As you’ve mentioned we spent years in the championship. And some of those players who played there at that level (and didn’t look amazing hence why they were never poached) are top class players. Solly march is a great example. Looked bang average for years and then had his stand out season before his terribly injury out scoring some of the biggest wingers in the league. Lewis dunk who has only got better and better through the years. So yes the players fit the system and yes they have talent. But how Brighton get the best out of all these peoples abilities starts with that. And they improve and improve and improve. I don’t see any flaws in our system. But it’s going to be very hard to break that glass ceiling of them huge clubs out there. But one day with continuous good season after good season. We might reach the heights of these giants. As all these clubs were small clubs at one point. It’s time to show some of the smaller clubs the dream is possible.
Honestly, we don’t stop Brighton. We just let them cook with their unique way of going about business that not even the Big Six have been able to replicate
As a brighton and growing up in brighton after supporting them when i got in to football when we kist qualified and were 17th in the premier league this js absolutely brilliant
Started getting into premier league football earlier this year and decided to root for Brighton because they have a lot of dutch players and im half dutch, looks like i picked the right club to support 😂
I’m glad to see my club getting the spotlight. I love Brighton & Hove Albion because we’re very strategic with everything we do. I’m commenting this before are 3rd game vs Arsenal. Hope we get the win and this vid is much deserved for the club.
Manchester United Fan here We've been losing to Brighton even when they had Glen Murray upfront and Chris was their manager. When we had OGS as manager. Even with ETH in his first season, we almost went undefeated at home for the whole season. The only game we lost at home was, you guessed it :Brighton,2-1 loss first game of the season. Admire Brighton and the way they operate but im tired😂
Every single man united dutch manager has had a nemesis club with a bird based nickname. For LVG, it was famously Swansea, and for Ten Hag its Brighton and perhaps Palace away.
Tony bloom is an amazing leader. Passionate about the club and has made a concrete foundation for the club. As a fan you learn to not be bothered when larger players or influential managers leave. Up the gulls
They’re simply well managed it’s crazy. What makes a team successful is the management, the management creates the idea the concept from that they bring a coach with this ideals… if then you add how great the scouting is you have a boom.
It's just nice to see them develop players, especially ones that are good but otherwise didn't have the room to. Whenever you see them buy a player, sometimes it doesn't work out, but alot of the time it's just interesting to see how they potentially help revitalize players with limbo potential.
6:12 Their another "flop" was Kacper Kozłowski. They bought him from Pogoń Szczecin in january 2022 for 11 milion €, but after 3 years of being on loan in Union SG and Vitesse they sold him to Gaziantep for 5 milion €
It starts from having a local owner... who is a master poker player... and who wants to win more than he wants to make an extra million. Bloom is loyal, genius, and determined. A perfect storm of ownership.
Brighton fan here it’s amazing year after year but the players do well at other teams too namely trossard white etc so they do improve its early days at the moment but especially exciting with the investment and belief to push on and achieve more.
Im not British, but decided to start following a English club 3 years ago after following international football for years. I picked Brighton because well, I study Ornithology and I liked their gull. I can honestly say, if the team didn't have a genuinely interesting culture, that isn't one obsessed with money, I probably would have stopped following the EPL long ago. Im so glad I lucked out and picked Brighton (And then to have us reach the Europa League one year in lmao) It just feels wholesome and kind, and so much of the EPL culture isnt that. (Of course there are great parts of every club and bad parts of every club, including Brighton too)
As a lifelong BHA fan, yes we are all proud or Tony Bloom and what he has done for our home club. We are used to seeing £2-3m players become our summer signings with perhaps one £20 - 30m player come in, we are used to seeing the best players being sold and slowly we have just come to trust that Tony knows what he's doing. But this transfer window with almost £200m spent we are like wait! Has somebody hacked Tonys visa card or something :o :o i mean yer, none of us know any of these players but WTF is going on ... i think we are all about to find out. lets hope its another Tony Bloom master piece. great video by the way :D really enjoyed it :D
Im a huge, and lifelong Liverpool fan, but the majority of my family are from the small towns surrounding Brighton. I’ll always support Brighton whenever Liverpool aren’t playing
Best run club for sure... reinvestment on scouting and remuneration helps perpetuate success rather than achieve it. Investors reap, players get playtime and a platform as well as coaching staff... it's working perfectly for their size of club as you say too
As a Brighton fan, I’m surprised to see how many Brighton fans are here! Hiya to you :) I do think that we have the best youth academy out there. Anyways, Vizeh, how’s life in the championship?
As a Brighton fan, it was a lot of trial and error it seemed at start, we invested in a lot of expensive players which flopped but the cheap investments really paid off, so by the 3rd season we attempted to just focus on that. Its only recently we have discovered we needed more depth and have missed out on a lot of players due to us deeming them to be expensive, since a lot of clubs know we have money now and knowing the player must be talented if we are coming in. This season is gonna be a definining season i feel of us truly securing our place as a top 10 side and i feel we are going to get a european place and will be a lot more prepared for it next season
I remember Brighton having the skint kit and they really were skint back then. The withdean stadium days then knocking on the premier league door in the 2010s to now.
20 year old Reading fan here - growing up used to go and watch Reading play at the Amex consistently every year, now it’s shit too see where each club is now
I call Brighton the Tampa Bay Rays of Football, because both teams have similar philosophies in how they operate. Excellent scouting and player development and assessments in place. A pragmatic mindset to building sustainably good rosters and using the returns of funds and/or prospects to stay competitive consistently. Both understand that they won’t be able to outbid the other teams for top talent, so capitalising on effective youth and developing impact players is the way to build.
I’m incredibly excited for Briton to do something this season. Mitoma is one of those players that I’ve been waiting to have his breakthrough season. I hope that’s this season 2 games 1 goal 1 assist.
Bournemouth's meteoric rise to the top flight, Southampton's shock challenge for European football and now most recently Brighton cooking. There's something in the water on the south coast of England.
You mention being given hope that Brighton proved themselves fallible by selling Gykoreres to Coventry for only a £0.2m profit. Sorry to let you know that there was a sell on clause reported to have been at least 10%. Brighton made at least a couple of million from Coventry's sale to Sporting. Even when he seemingly got one wrong, Tony Bloom trebled his money.
The fact that Tony Bloom is a local owner and dedicated to make the team successful seems like an old football story we used to hear before oil states or corporate groups took over ownership.

Man Utd is their own nightmare
I thonk you mean JAMES MILNERRRRR 🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐
As a United fan, Brighton is one of those clubs that I dread watching us play against.
Manchester United always make them look like prime Barcelona, despite managerial changes they can counteract Ten-Hags (non-existent) style of play.
Every damn time
Brighton might well be a dark horse in the prem, its just a shame that they are getting farmed by the bigger teams and (MAINLY)chelsea
To be fair, that’s their whole model. They’re farming players out for the bigger teams is a better way to put it.
Getting farmed by Chelsea actually ended up being advantageous to Brighton. That's why they've been able to buy so much this season without selling any of their top talents.
No they aren’t 😂 just bcs they got one lucky win cause of two terrible goals and scrappy clearing from united all game doesn’t mean they’re good. Come back to me end of the season
@@SK.305 Fact still remains that Brighton bullies Man United. Beating Man U is like a recreational activity for Brighton at this point.😂
A “FELT CUTE, MIGHT DESTROY MAN U LATER” type of thing
@@SK.305 someone's salty😭🤣
We got a spotlight video from Vizeh… life is complete CMON BRIGHTON
SEAGULLS🔵🔵
I remember in the 90's I had one pal who was a Brighton fan here in Birmingham. They were one game away from dropping out of the league and one game from oblivion. If they lost that game they would have folded if i remember properly.
Seeing them in the Premier League right now just amazes me. One result away from not existing anymore to mainstays at the top table, incredible.
How do we stop Brighton?
As a West Ham fan. . . why the hell would we want to do that?
Brighton represents everything I love about football, what they have done totally goes against what these huge money infused clubs have done to get to the top. As a Leeds fan i wish them every bit of success!
Man united😂
The owner knows how to do business thats why the team itself hasnt imploded and is able to keep itself self sufficient and still be competitive at the highest level of english football.
I’m a Man Utd fan & even though I’m bitter about the result, which wasn’t all that fair, I think they’ve managed to build a proper squad after getting skinned by the top clubs.
Their new manager seems really promising, they looked incredibly organized in defense & their counter attack game is impressive.
I hope they can get a good finish, especially over Newcastle.
At this point, Brighton could have a 12 year old manager and they will still somehow perform well
Put my 3 year old cousin in and theyll still be doing well
Or put Sovietwomble in charge, he already lives there (just a shame he's not a football follower)
I dont support Brighton, but they have to he my second favourite team in England and have my upmost respect
Ps: I honestly hope they don't stop because with all the dodgy dealing the big clubs around the world it would be nice for a team like Brighton to succeed
Me too and I’m spursy
Must be a palace fan obviously not old enough to remember 79to83season envy is a sad thing to possess
@bobroofdancer not a palace fan either just stating the obvious, brighton have only been in the top division for about 12 seasons in their history. They're enjoying some relative success now but to make out they're some big club with a great history is just not true
Team with local proper fans. They really stand out from all the plastic clubs in the prem.
Simplest form to understand the video
Brighton:- Dortmund of the Premier League
Dutchie here... Been watching the Premier League for years and Brighton has charmed its way into my heart. Love the club.
Brighton makes me happy because as a west brom fan (west brom were doing good in the prem for 9 years) they make me have hope that we as a smaller club could do the same
They’re just phenomenally well run, and every single member of staff is incredibly well looked after
Credit needs to be given to Paul Barber, Tony’s right hand man. He’s the best strategist in the Premiership and a cute operator who is in it for the long run. Let’s go….UTA
Being a brighton fans very happy to see a video like this, thank you!
Yes we are so lucky have a boss really love the club.
Much love to you shining a light on my boyhood club we’ve gone through losing our home stadium and we’re close to having everything lost but now we reside in the amex and it’s our fortress and we’ll defend it
Its genuinely impossible to stop these lads man. Potter goes no problem, de zerbi leaves no problem. Macallister, cucurella, caicedo, trossard, and many more i havent listed they dont care they'd just replace them.
Love the content and the unbiased perspective you are a real football fan in every possible way
As a brighton fan, I feel very honored to have an unreal scouting program.
I have loved Brighton since 2015 and Glenn Murray, and in the present i'm glad how there just getting better.
This is one of the positives that can come from a fan buying their favourite team.
Their transfer policy is unbelievable. Lowest average age in the premier league, moving players on following successful seasons but they always have palpable players waiting for an opportunity. Re-investing in unproven talents usually pays off.
Some may say it must be luck but at this stage it simply can’t be
Thats the power of great player development staff
I hope Brighton can pull a Leicester
Manchester United Fan here
We've been losing to Brighton even when they had Glen Murray upfront and Chris was their manager. When we had OGS as manager. Even with ETH in his first season, we almost went undefeated at home for the whole season. The only game we lost at home was, you guessed it :Brighton,2-1 loss first game of the season.
Admire Brighton and the way they operate but im tired😂
Iv supported Brighton for 40 years. I would never have thought. We're they are now 🙏☀️🙏☀️🙏
Every single man united dutch manager has had a nemesis club with a bird based nickname. For LVG, it was famously Swansea, and for Ten Hag its Brighton and perhaps Palace away.
Sami Hyypia, who left in 2014, was the last Brighton manager not to have beaten Man Utd.
I’m from America and wanted to support a club after 10 years of watching.. I’m sold
Props for your pronunciation of Hürzeler. I heard some wild things in the last few weeks.
Appreciate it.
Greetings from Germany.
It pains me to see Brighton doing well
man i’m loving all these uploads ☺️ got me feeling special
Bro the consistency is crazy, everyday when I get home & I start rolling a joint I found your vids
Keep goin bro
Of course as a Brighton fan and being from Brighton you can’t stop us
It's just nice to see them develop players, especially ones that are good but otherwise didn't have the room to.
Im so glad I lucked out and picked Brighton (And then to have us reach the Europa League one year in lmao)
It just feels wholesome and kind, and so much of the EPL culture isnt that. (Of course there are great parts of every club and bad parts of every club, including Brighton too)
Not sure what the bad part is though?
Just take a look at there previous stadium. Shows how far they have come 👏
as a watford fan, i'm just happy to see joao pedro balling out
As a brighton fan, I know we got him for about 30 mil but we should of paid you more! The boys is pure class!
Brighton never get the credit we deserve, and its great to see you make it! You just earned a subscriber here Vizeh!
Best run club for sure... reinvestment on scouting and remuneration helps perpetuate success rather than achieve it. Investors reap, players get playtime and a platform as well as coaching staff... it's working perfectly for their size of club as you say too
That group of death last year was crazy, you have 2 ex CL winners,us and AEK Athens, who are underrated in european competitions
Love and appreciate the amount of uploads we’ve been getting!
As a Brighton fan, I’m surprised to see how many Brighton fans are here! Hiya to you :)
I do think that we have the best youth academy out there.
Anyways, Vizeh, how’s life in the championship?
Championship is fantastic lad
@@Vizeh Did you miss playing against Blackburn last season?
@@Vizeh Sounds great!
Brighton will win a major trophy in the next 3 years on this rate
I remember Brighton having the skint kit and they really were skint back then. The withdean stadium days then knocking on the premier league door in the 2010s to now.
20 year old Reading fan here - growing up used to go and watch Reading play at the Amex consistently every year, now it’s shit too see where each club is now
The thing is...Bloom is already looking for the next manager, if not, have one being discussed already. Their planning is unbelievable.
never been so happy to be a fan of my boyhood local club and see them go from borderline bankruptcy to europa league. unreal
Also both teams where the great Peter Ward played
I’m incredibly excited for Briton to do something this season. Mitoma is one of those players that I’ve been waiting to have his breakthrough season. I hope that’s this season 2 games 1 goal 1 assist.
Bournemouth's meteoric rise to the top flight, Southampton's shock challenge for European football and now most recently Brighton cooking. There's something in the water on the south coast of England.
brighton finally getting recognition for once , so happy about it
Best video I’ve seen on us from a non Albion fan. We deserve this after the Gillingham days remember…
