Boris est incontestablement un des meilleurs pianistes de notre époque. Sa façon de produire le son est unique au monde. On peut avoir la technique, mais ne pas toucher le public. Boris fait de la magie avec l'instrument en touchant au plus profond de nous avec chaque son. Merci à lui pour ces miracles

It's impossible for many pianists to play it as written, Rachmaninoff himself even split the chords in some recordings. Peculiar, considering he had abnormally large hands.

@@thewebsapiens Луганский мне нравится,глубокий музыкант,но у него в игре нет той микеланджовской мощи,такой "лепки" звука,такких ураганных кульминаций,душевной широтыфеноменального пианизма и виртуозности,можно еще долго перечислять,но это займет слишком много места.Не будем напрасно спорить,Березовский лучший в мире музыкант,чувствующий и исполняющий Рахманинова! Думаю,Сергей Васильевич был бы очень им доволен!

Es gibt viele tolle Pianisten, aber ich glaube, souveräner kann keiner spielen, er steht einfach drüber, er ist perfekt, noch dazu einfach locker und sympathisch

@@oucutie1 this is not true. When there is some kind of singing going on (ex : Schubert Lieder), we can definitely call it a song. Lieder litterally means "song" in German.

Berezovsky is the best Rachmaninov player since Sviatoslav Richter, in my humble opinion
I am convinced that no pianist will ever play this concerto near the calibre of which Richter did.
Every other performance I listen to, I always end up thinking "Richter did it better..." which feels incredibly disrespectful to the fantastic performers.
Boris connaît Dimitri par coeur, et vice-versa. ça donne un concert merveilleux....
