Drizzt in vanilla BG 1 was a nightmare to fight and he always hitted for 30+ dmg. Wiping out my entire Party. EE Drizzt gut nerfed into oblivion (okay he’s still a threat). Anyways. Great work, Sir! I always wanted someone to do BG 1 Battles especially starring Drizzt do Urden ❤️🌹 much love!
Magic resist druid spell will make his magic res 20% instead of 100%. Then you doom him. Then your 5 nymphs has 2 chances of stun him each. Now he is as good as dead nomatter what you do, you can rain down 6 x call of Lightning at once, which all will strike 3 times, or you can use harm to bring him to 1HP or you can just easy melee him together with ur 5 nymphs as he is stunned. Drizzt was no treath to my solo shaman :p I Even tried to insta kill him with cursed scroll of poison which insta kills on failed saving throw, but he saved all 3 scrolls so i instead just killed him without use of scrolls/pots etc :)
My game glitched like that during the Aec'Letec fight. The cultists just stand there and get murdered while the demon only uses slash attacks after his initial gaze. Do you have SCS installed?
@@QualityRPGs-pj6my were you able to correct the glitch? I'm installing mods for my third run and hopefully it doesn't show up this time. I encountered quite a few issues like this, including guards not spawning during Davaeorn fight and Irenicus freezing during the fight in spellhold.
@@solarwrath1313 so is the point to hack them all down quickly before taking on the demon? I'm not sure why this is considered such a tough fight then.
Thanks for the question. Demon Knight is on the last level of Durlag's Tower (Tales of the Sword Coast expansion). Aec'Letec requires the same expansion and can be found in the Ulgoth's Bear village :)
It's been SO long since I saw any of these encounters without SCS, that it took me a while to figure out what was going on, here. 'Why is Sarevok taking damage with his goons around?' and 'Why is Aex'Latac not doing his gaze attack?'
You are doing the duel wrong. if sarevok uses oil of speed drizzt also should be sped up somehow. The best way it to make the duel happen when neither drizzt nor sarevok is sped up.
8 dmg hits. His strength really sucks in this version, but it fits with his stats from the AD&D Forgotten Realms Heroes Lorebook so I guess that's what he's supposed to be like. I don't think Dex gives additional melee weapon damage in AD&D unless you use some kind of houserule. Imagine how powerful this character would be if they had bothered to give him 18 Str..

@@Elkanthar Thanks for the comment. Yea, the pre-nerf Drizzt would have been quite nice. But compared to the pre-EE Wand of Monster summoning he is just a coughing baby vs nuclear bomb :)

Thanks for the question. He fights a bunch of gnolls west from the Beregost-Nashkel road. There is a lake in the area as well :)
Would be cool if you could have him follow you or something at least for a little while as a side quest.

@@holden6104 Hmm. If I remember correctly, my encounters with this kind of bugs have been rare and far between without any mods :)
pretty sure the cultists standing around doing nothing is vanilla behavior, scs is what makes them fight back (and that's an optional component)

Thanks for the comment. Yea, agreed on that. If I recall correctly Drizzt has gotten some nerfs to the Enhanced Edition if compared to the OG :)

Those are the correct stats going back to earlier editions.
In AD&D 2nd Edition those are the correct stats for Drizzt:
Str 13
Dex 20
Con 15
Wis 17
Int 17
Cha 14
