Have a Grandson also who doesn't like chocolate! Think I have both of their chocolate genes plus my own. Trouble !!! Think y'all in the South mention the "I "on your stove.Had to figure it out at first Happy Holidays. 🎄😉🌲
The chocolate are my son’s favorite but I’m going to try these. Do you put flour in your chocolate ones? My recipe doesn’t call for that. Thanks for all your goody recipes. 🤶🏻
My 35 yr. old son will not eat chocolate, never made these so maybe he’ll have a special treat when they travel home for Christmas. His wife makes him strawberry Rice Krispie treats with white chocolate drizzle, and they are delicious!🫶🙏
My grandma used to make those with chocolate - they are really good 😋 Have you tried the no bake chow mien noodles and peanuts in butterscotch and semi sweet chocolate chips ? Same concept and very good too ! Happy Holidays Our Forever Farm 💗
I think she just used melted butter , sugar , peanut butter , cocoa , and oatmeal , and a dash of vanilla. The other recipe is just a bag of melted semi sweet chocolate chips and a bag of butterscotch chips with chow mien noddles and peanuts without skins scooped on wax paper and flash freeze like the blondies. Store in freezer until use.
They are called chocolate chow mein cookies or haystacks 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips ½ cup crunchy peanut butter 2 cups dry chow mein noodles ½ cup chopped peanuts sea salt, to sprinkle We made them with butterscotch chip instead of peanut butter , but the added sea salt looks good too on either
Chocolate no bake cookies are some of my favorite cookies 😋.
I must admit however that it's hard to eat just one!
I hear ya! They are so good. 😊

This is perfect!
You’re welcome! I hope she loves them!
Thanks for the tip on freezing. I make the no bakes quite often but I’ve never frozen any. ❤️
You are so welcome! I love freezing them, too. They are so good when you pull them out of the freezer & thaw. Ready to eat.
