Well I'd love to have been there. Awesome catching the DIM, CSUs & OSU!
Must've been a HazMat/CBRN alert.
Cheers Sean =)

I have to say their Officer Cars are very nice.
+James Radley Lease car's, you can get what you like as long as it is under a 120 CO emissions rating and if you pay the excess over your allowance.

What happened
Anybody know what actually happened yet? Interested to know what can happen at a hospital that would call for there to be so many fire trucks, including 2 command units and an OSU too! Haha
+Riley Ghosts Chemical incident and this is a standard attendance for a confirmed chemical, be it a hospital or a house! There is only normally one Command Unit but the one that attended initially systems went down on arrival, so the second was ordered to relieve it.
+Gregory emergencyvideos Standard confirmed chemical response minus one of the Command Units. Too much chlorine got into the water system.
+Riley Ghosts there was too much chlorine in the water supply
if an alarm goes off at a place like a hospital, school or college, there is a PDA (pre determined attendance) in other words, 6 appliances may be mobilised for one place ,whereas 4 might be automaticaly despatched to another place, thats how it works in hampshire, dont know if its different in london. Great video by the way..
that bmw 1 tho *-*
Light bar at 0.21 is wearing a big plastic hat.
What's that vehicle at 1:56
Luke, It's a DIM Unit, which stands for Detection, Investigation, Monitoring.
After the terrorist attacks of 9-11 and 7-7, the office of the deputy prime minister (John Prescott) bought a substantial fleet of vehicles specifically designed to respond to any future attacks. This program was known as "New Dimensions". The vehicles purchased were: Incident Response Units (mass decontamination units) and Urban Search & Rescue Units. All modules were mounted on the heavy duty M.A.N. TG-A chassis. Later they also added to this government-owned fleet with a number of High Volume Pumping Units.
But to act as mobile scientific laboratories at chemical attacks/incidents they bought twenty of these DIM Units. These are also government-owned and, as with the other New Dimensions vehicles, are dotted around the country and staffed by regular local authority firefighters. Apparently the DIM Units are deliberately liveried low key so as not to cause any panic when one turns up!
+YelpBullhorn thanks
