This is near the top of my list as far as music created during the first 10 years of the new Century. I hope this promotes the healing and renewal that we must have for anyone to live through this current madness.
Pedro Lezama Absolutely! As an Alto sax player, I idol him, his style, technique as I improvise. I had a chance to meet him and talk with him at the Murfreesboro Jazz Festival years ago.
Anyone notice how many comments a video will get when there is an actual video being played opposed to an album cover or sumthing. I feel like this shows how much musical vibes can felt thru visually seeing the musical emotions being showed while actually recording sumthing. Am I right? Its like rating an album from listening to it on an ipod vs seeing it performed live in concert. Theres a level of emotion connection thats not there. So i ALWAYS close my eyes an imagine im in the studio wit them
I hadn't even heard of this guy before last week - now I'm such a fan. Hope to see his group live soon. If anyone knows where he's playing, plz. let me know!!!

I met this man because of Miles, what a sax player, it's excellent, one artist leads you to another
Even before Miles, he was great, check out the concert with Freddie Hubbard especially when he solo on "Redclay".
The saxophone gives purpose to some players, Kenny gives purpose to all players who love the saxophone.
