Junky is one of my favorites since the first time I saw this video in ‘09. Kenny and th bassist are unconscious. Brian Blade is glue and talk about being lost in the song! Spectacular drumming! That’s a bad man. He could teach some of these modern jazz drummers how to play the same song as the rest of the band. They seem lost and looking for the limelight instead of letting the music breathe.

Thats not Hiromi, its Junko Onishi. There are a lot of fine Japanese musicain's the cats who play on Joe Henderson in Japan are good examples of this.
