When I do a reset, it pretty much behaves like I started a new weakness combo. So the weakness timer gets refreshed and every element I can use in the combo also get refreshed. I'm not entirely sure what you mean by the decay but I hope this helps clear things up haha.
@@Sonnance oh I see what you mean now lol. I don't think X2 has combo hitstun decay (I haven't noticed it at all if there is). Combo length is mostly determined by element weakness timers and OTG limits since an enemy can only be knocked down three times in one combo and you need to do an OTG to reset.
I always mildly disliked this boss, and It's not their fault. I main Gaius, so I always go for Wingul first and then have to slog through this fight as Ludger afterword. Speaking of which, I'm exited for the next video, because that's probably the single fight in this game that I actually feel I have the skill for.

@@HorangiTiger Ah sorry, I meant combo decay. Was wondering if resetting this way essentially started fresh on hitsun duration as well.

Makes sense that you don't like this fight if you're a Gaius main haha. My Wingul take is rather... unique so please look forward to it ;)
