Throughout Jujutsu Kaisen’s Story, our main character and protagonist Yuji Itadori had been guided by his fair share of mentors in the past. However recently it seems like Yuji is simply falling behind the curve of strength without them, while other characters have grown to unpredictable heights. During these recent chapters of Jujutsu Kaisen, we’ve seen the introduction or re-introduction to some of the strongest characters who had been kept in the dark for a very long time. Sorcerers like Yuki, Hakari, Yuta, Yorozu, and Kenjaku have stepped into the spotlight and have created this tier of power that Yuji simply cannot compete with. Many other RUclipsrs including myself have made videos covering Yuji’s lack of growth in recent chapters, but this video is a little different. Seeing a video like this after we saw yuji be relative to Maki/Toji in terms of physical stats is CRAZY
Not to mention he tanked a full power punch from 15F sukuna, arguably off guard. His physical stats are definitely in the top part of the verse.
Also, the argument of sukuna telling uruame good job on focusing on Maki, him being more “ worried “ about Maki etc is not evidence of yuji being significantly lower than them. Sukuna said “ not bad! “ after Maki took a punch to the face, but yuji took a punch through like two buildings & a city block, and sukuna just says “ you’re still here?? “
This attitude from sukuna towards yuji is clearly something special and to take note of, considering yuji’s feat of tanking a punch off guard is better than Maki taking one while in the middle of fighting sukuna.

Hey, if you remember, Sukuna wasn't even outputting at past 10% against yuji due to Megumi's soul
@@spunkymonkey5102 Sukuna only noticed that change a good while after he took Megumi's body. The punch he hit Maki is literally ntn in comparison to the one Yuji took.

Regardless of Yujis power level, I honestly enjoyed following him as an MC than I have most battle shonen I’ve ever watched. He’s incredibly well written, his internal struggle underpins every choice he makes and while his noble intent never goes away, it’s rare you see an mc take this much abuse without being a bitch and ending the entire world(Eren cough)
He’s been through some wild shit for a dude who’s freakishly strong and has crazy hands, he’s done very well for himself.
I mean, he do lashed out and his only enemies is the cursed unlike Eren whose enemy change from mindless giant to normal human

Soul swapping is kinda on the weaker side imo. I see it as a tool to rescue Megumi where he swaps sukuna out back into his cage but he really needs something else. He bathed in Sukuna CE for a couple of months so i kinda hope he develops a busted CT as a reward.
Since it was heavily heavily implied through a conversation with Choso that Yuji ate the other 6 death paintings, and there’s actually a quote from Gege that says that yuji can eat cursed objects to gain their cursed energy, Yujis cursed energy pool is now likely fucking massive.
Even if he doesn’t get a traditional technique, his own intuitive understanding of his own soul and the book about souls he got from Yuki via Choso, it’s likely he will develop a new cursed energy application related to the soul all on his own. This is supported by yuji being seen in Kusakabes body in a recent chapter.
Yuji will be broken at some point but in a way that’s hard to quantify within the established power system since Yuuji himself already exists in a way that defies it

I think that yuji will get a awakening when he understands his own backstory, I think this is the way that he will obtain a CT, from what I understand, self knowledge and having a clear filosophy onf life is what gives you power in this world, and the fact that we still dont understand a lot about yuji makes me think that this is the way he gets a CT

I think yuji is being left being because he is being setup to be the only one who dies. I don't think the last words that his grandpa left him in chapter one are not gonna get fulfilled. I think we are gonna get an arc where we see him grow and triumph but perish at the end.

Sorry guys just a tangent here, chapter 136 Yuki said her comrade was protecting Todo. Who is this comrade? Reverse cursed technique can't regenerate Aoi's hand but Yuki researched the soul right. What if she knows how to reshape the soul and Todo can get his hand back? A stretch I know but I just can't shake the fact that Yuki's significance is far from over. I mean personally I still think she went back in time.

The panel where all the students were seeing off Gojo, included all the Tokyo School students..so i think it was a highlight that they would mostly play a big role in bringing down the antagonists now being Gojo's students.
Besides, it's likely that they set up a plan to bring back Megumi and kill Sukuna, i feel like Gojo would've set up Yuuji for an important role in that, seeing him train with Kusakabe and the soul switching thingy, i think Yuuji is going to get the biggest piece of action he's ever gotten before putting him back at the place of the MC.
I just don’t know how Yuji is gonna get strong enough to beat Sukuna/Kenny without it feeling like an asspull. He’s just so much weaker than them at the moment

Imagine Sukuna vs Todo and Yuji. Except now Todo has found Boogie Woogie once more, and while he was gone he didnt mope or weep at the loss of a limb...as they are just for decoration. So i would love for a domain expansion to be unlocked. Domain expansion:Boogie Wonderland.
Idea: What if Maki was the one who died and as a result her sister’s power of creation reached its peak?

With Yuji’s body swop it’s possible Todo will be able to use boogie woogie while in another body, Kenjaku’s able to use the CT of his previous vessel’s. Also I hope angel will be used as well, pulling angels soul into Yuji body would definitely be useful.

I think a main problem with Yuji is that he is JUST physical. Yes he does use cursed energy, however, he doesn't have any teqnichues.
He doesn't have the ten shadows, limitless, fire, or even the simple "Boogie woogie". He is just pure hands.
If todo's boogie woogie is negative energy that inverts the space of the object having curse energy, then wouldn't it be cool if he used negative energy on his fingers to snap them together creating two Positive energy reverse technique like making a physical portal in space that connects the two. Then he be using the same fighting with more ways to misdirect.

Bro, Look I know Yuji still needs to get stronger(new abilities) to help out more in the end but it feels like the fandom downplays or overlooks him WAY too much.(with bias)
There are several things people are ignoring, Sukuna himself was shocked and questioned where Yuji suddenly got a noticeble increase in power from(in his own head), Maki is about to fight with Yuji for the first time and ask if he can keep up with her increasing speed. Gege doesnt give us the usual vague or ambigous answer, he has Yuji say yes and literally keeping up side by side even towards the end of the fight Yuji is showm bouncing off the rocks keeping pace with her.
Plus Sukuna kept his eyes on Maki because unlike Yuji, she doesnt have any curse energy that he can sense. Similiar to how Teen Gojo had to keep guessing where Toji was because he couldnt sense him. And tbh Sukuna is very bias, he watched Yuji walked off several of his vicious attacks w way more force and goes "you're still here" while praising Maki for shrugging off one small punch.
Sure he's not fully on Maki's of skill but bro is not massively behind her either, otherwise he wouldnt be able to even percieve their movements.

I've always wondered if Sukuna payed any sort of attention to the moments Yuji has with Todo(and Choso i guess), and if Sukuna resonated with any of it- assuming the theories of him having a possible brother back in his human lifetime- are true.

Im gonna simplify this one yuji needs a teacher to improve his fundamentals, and 2. Remember yuji's only has 20% of his full potential available to him because he has no ct( yet maybe), and just like kusakabe who is soft locked into grade 1 yuji might also have the same issue, but if yuji can get a ct he can finally use 100% of his full potential which in my opinion yuji's new potential would be higher than megumi's and the six eyes have been wrong before
So Yuji might just not be able to compete at this level. It might be the point. He wants to guide people to a proper death, but he's simply not strong enough to do so. He's doing his best, but with all these monsters he may just be a scrub with big ambitions.

Aoi was left out of the power curve after Shibuya. Remember when Noritoshi and Toge were hyped up in Kyoto good will? What has happened is completely different. Sometimes that's how far a character is written within a story.

@@BeastBoy557 wrong, there’s less than 30 chapters left, gojo vs sukuna will take atleast 5-10 chapter, dialogue for kenjaku and the rest of the cast will probably take another 5-7 chapters, based on the rate the manga has been shown. That leaves 13-20 chapters left for development lmao. We won’t see any progression from the characters we need it from
@@Mr.Meow011 Not every character needs to keep up until the end. Inumaki for example was hyped at the Goodwill-event, but the fight against Hanami clearly showed that special grade curses are out of his league and his CT has a massive backlash for him. Of course Gege could make him gain more CE and eventually be able to keep up with even special grades, but it makes sense that some students will grow more than others. Inumaki stagnated and thats fine for me.
Thats just one example and while i personally would agree in criticizing Kamos role and development i still stand by the point that not every character needs drastic developments or power-ups.
I don't understand it was stated by kenjaku among his thousand year of experiments yuji was the only and most perfect vessel he made but Evn imperfect ones like his older brother choso is stronger than him.

That’s the point, yuji has literally nothing, even kashimo has incredible feats outside his cursed ability. Yuji is not only slower than top tiers, he’s also significantly lacking in everything else. The only merit is his punching and kicking, and tbh majority of the top tiers have better hand to hand and strength feats

I think people underestimate Yuji too much, you named Maki in the same sentence as Yuta, Hakari etc. But not Yuji? I believe he’s actually physically stronger than Maki. Maybe not faster and he might not be a weapon specialist, but I definitely think he’s on par or above Maki in terms of strength and hand to hand combat.
Ehh, he hasn’t fought like yuta, hakari and maki did yet so we don’t know, if he had a battle with someone strong ppl would probably not underrate him as much.
