- Recently I’ve been seeing some discussion about who can actually defeat one if not the strongest Shikigami In Jujutsu Kaisen, The Divine General himself Mahoraga. He’s one of the Ten-Shadows but he’s never been defeated by any Ten-Shadows user in the past. With his extremely unique skill set I thought it would be interesting to put him up against one JJK’s strongest sorcerers, Yuta. For the sake of the video we’ll say that Megumi summons Mahoraga the same way he did in Shibuya, but instead of Sukuna running to save Megumi. Rika could not handle ryu , and sukuna negative difficulty ryu that was not even. Fight it lasted 0.1 second , while mahoraga was giving sukuna one hard time , saying if he was not in yuji body he would've been over for him .

Actually Rika in Volume 0 is a vengeful cursed spirit, vengeful spirits are the most powerful type of spirits because they have boundless cursed energy, when Rikas soul was released from the curse her form became a shikigami

So, let me start by saying I agree Yuta would get mopped up by Maharaga. However, Rika isnt the source of Yuta CE. Shes a container for it. Its been stated in the manga. All her power is YUTAs power. Once shes gone, he has access to his full amount of CE.

"Rika" is a Cursed Energy construct that was left behind by actual Rika, and thus is not only an extension of Yuta's power, but way weaker than actual Rika. Plus Yuta has multiple CT's, so he can counter the Dharma Chakra if he's able to survive long enough.

Whats crazy is I don't even think this is the strongest Mahoraga even is. We already saw what Sukuna did to that Elephant in Chapter 219, he could just pump Mahoraga with all of his cursed energy like steroids and we'd probably see something crazy.

I think Yuta, aged up 10 years would absolutely thrash Mahoraga, but he’s still in part of his life Gojo was before he damn near died to a dude he’d given the side eye too as a baby. He’s powerful and talented and his potential is insane, but so was gojos and being honest I think pre Toji Gojo loses to Mahoraga as well

Yuta using his technique through Rika, turning her into a mahoraga clone would be the sickest thing.
I honestly agree with everything you said, but I think the victor depends on what each fighter does and how fast. For Yuta, he would most likely need to use many cursed techniques at once before Mahoraga adapts, use a technique that would exorcise him in one hit, or use his domain expansion. Since we don't know the full arsenal of techniques (and cursed tools) that Yuta has OR what his domain expansion does, the fight is still winnable in his favor. However, I think that if Mahoraga could recognize that most of Yuta's power comes from Rika, it would probably go straight for her, and then the fight would be nearly unwinnable for Yuta. Also, if Yuta knew about Mahoraga's fatal counter to Rika (his positive energy), he would need to try his hardest to keep her fully manifested in order to stand a chance. Overall, I think the fight is like you said; not so simple.

Ishigori made rika hit her limit not just by his hit. You stated that Rika hit her limit before the 5 minute allotted period of time because of Ishigori's punch. That isn't the case. Rika hit her limit of time then Ishigori punched her, causing her to hit her limit because of the time and it was a hard hit. It wasn't because of his punching power that the conncection between her and yuta broke, it was more so the time. The punch was just the final touch.

I think the same way Rika is in danger of the sword of extermination Mahoraga would also be in the same level of danger. Since yuta can use RCT and output RCT. Idk what ya’ll think but the only difference i see between a shikigami n a curse is that curses are mode from collective CE while shikigami are made from a single sorcerer(or it was a curse that became a pet). So shikigami have the same make up as curses. UNLESS u think ten shadow shikigami make up is the shadow
Mahoraga might be different cuz he has a sword embedded in his arm that is enveloped in positive energy
the point of how to tame Mahoraga is to beat it before ya ran out of techniques to use. Yuta being a mimicking ct sorcerer should have an advantage as long as he ends the fight quick. Now, if he drags it too long, that’s Mahoraga’s advantage to adapt and eliminate him.
That sounds good until you realize Mahoraga casually tanks Sukuna's open domain. Yuta has absolutely no technique that has the destructive ability of Sukuna's open domain and even that wasn't enough to kill Mahoraga. Sukuna couldn't even remove Mahoraga's arms.
You could have 200 technique but if none of them exceed the destructive power of Sukuna on their own then they're all just peashooters that'll never kill Mahoraga outright.

This VS fight is weird. Yuta has NO attacks that could even hope to match Sukuna's open domain and even that wasn't enough to kill Mahoraga.

Valid points. However some misunderstood and missed points. Yuta is the original supplier of cursed energy, he accidentally created Rika and she acts as his external storage for CE and CTs. So while Rika might be physically tougher if you go by purely physical durability, Yuta should be stronger.
Yuta is also the perfect counter for Mahoraga in more ways than one as his wide range of cursed techniques allows Yuta to bypass the adaptability, many wonder what good Cursed Speech would do against an opponent like Mahoraga, sure, "Die" will surely not work as that command even was taxing against lower graded Cursed Spirits, however, stuff like "Stop" would work for at least a few seconds leaving plenty of time for a counterattack by either techniques, Rika+Yuta physically or by his other big wincon RCT.
Yuta can output RCT, each time we have seen this ability used on Cursed Spirits, they instantly died. So just as much of a threat that Mahoragas sword is to Rika, at least equally much of a threat is the entirety of Yuta to Mahoraga.
I'm not by any means saying that Yuta no-diffs, however I do think he will come out victorious in most scenarios.
I don't think Mahoraga is a Cursed Spirit. I say this cause he wields a Positive Energy Sword, thats strapped to his wrist.

PE works different than CE they're literal opposites, yes Negative was used to make it, but its something totally different now.

Which one is the correct one. Mahoraga adapt to Yuta's copy ability or Mahoraga adapt to every Yuta's copied ability one by one?
He'd have to adapt to all of them one by one. For example limitless blue and limitless red have two different adaptations despite coming from the same technique. Hollow purple is another 3rd adaptation.
My money on Yuta
The most important thing to understand about Maghora is what makes him so formidable in a fight. The anime blurred the line heavily with this question. In the manga, Maghora was NOT walking through Malevot Shrine, or nearly relative to Sukuna. Let's get that very clear. This is the same thing that happened to Jogo versus Sukuna, but to a greater extent. Before any adaptation, Maghora's durability actually scales nowhere. It never successfully tanked any of Sukuna’s attacks. The first dismantle cut through Maghora so badly it hit the wall behind him, and by the time sukuna understood the ability, maghora adapted all the way from not being able to tank a simple dismantle to surviving a malevolent shrine. If sukuna had popped the domain immediately, Maghora would have been annihilated.
The Narrator says that why to beat Maghora is to slaughter it with a new type of attack before it can adapt, which is what sukuna did. There are quite a few characters, like Jackpot Hakari for example one-dimensional in their fighting style. He mainly does punches and kicks, meaning he would probably struggle with putting Maghora for good. But Yuta is arguably one the best people to take on Maghora due to his insane versatility. Multiple different types of attacks. For example, Yuta can damage or immobilize Mahorga with curse speech and then attempt to annihilate him with a very strong different type of attack like the love beam stated slightly weaker to Ishigori’s granite blast, which is the highest output within the Cullen game and history as of the Edo period. Geto got absolutely destroyed by it, and the only reason there was anything left for him was because he was able to offset some damage with his own maximum uzumaki. Yuta can use another powerful Attack in his arsenal.
The main things that carry Maghora when it comes to discussion regarding him is a lack of knowledge. If Yuta goes into this fight with zero Intel, and he is not as shrewd and analytical as Sukuna is, he will probably lose. But if he went into the fight knowing what he was going up against, he has the tools to defeat Maghora.
Second, it takes time for Maghora to adapt to more complex curse technique
It has to be deadly and powerful to one shot which yuta didn't egen show till now
I think you got Yuta's powers a bit twisted bro, Rika only has as much power as Yuta gives her, and the Copy ability is also solely his. The fight is between two beings that can endlessly adapt, and Yuta also has more CE and hacks of his own. Yuta should win this match handily...

@@rogar0x785Sukuna said if he was a cursed spirit it would’ve been over due to the Sword of Extermination. Mahoraga was repeatedly outpaced by Sukuna and was getting cut up by his technique. I don’t see how he oneshots Rika since based on Madoka Deer, shikigami aren’t curses.

It does not really change anything rika is still getting body by mahoraga , mahoraga is too fast , strong , durable the only thing Rika can do is use her blast , and that blast won't even affect mahoraga at all he will not even need to adapt , the same blast that ryu stop with his and and called it weak so that blast is not doing anything to mahoraga.

Your scaling makes zero sense. Mahoraga doesn’t scale to Sukuna in speed. We literally see it try to attack him miss and then get punched in the face like 5 times. Later we see Sukuna kick it in the face before it can react and even cut it before it can react. Only times Mahoraga actually lands hits on him is when he chooses to block rather than dodge. Your statement that Rika can’t do anything is pretty baseless as well since you’re not giving any reasons. Rika can disperse Granite Blast with her hand. She can make Ishigori bleed with punches and take attacks from him as well. Rika isn’t beating Mahoraga 1v1 but it’s ridiculous to say it oneshots her.

What's to stop Yuta from copying Sukuna's techniques? Or even the Ten Shadows for that matter? Cursed Speech was a clan only technique and Yuta can use that technique with ease. It seems to me a Yuta going all-out would get to farm off Kenjaku or Sukuna for useful Cursed Techniques.

Sukuna's domain was literally the only thing that was capable of stopping it. Yuta is getting washed even with dismantle and cleave lol. Also, Mahoraga is a shikigami meaning that he'd need to kill Megumi to even hope to capture it with cursed spirit manipulation (assuming he even gets that ability to begin with).

You forgot to factor that Sukuna beat Mahoraga when he was with Megumi but now he is with sukuna and all of the ten shadows got a boost in power because of it. so it safe to say that yuta will be destroyed if he fought the current mahoraga.
Actually if you think about it, Yutas copy technique is perfect against Mahoraga, Yuta is the most versatile sorcerer in Jujutsu Kaisen and the only one who uses everything a sorcerer can use, cursed tools, cursed technique that lets him copy other techniques, A powerful shikigami who can store even more cursed tools, a domain expansion and probably other barrier techniques, and reverse cursed technique that he can output.

Yeah it is debatable, the fact that yuta is so versatile means hes most likely going to win. As you know Mahoraga adapts, so yuta is his weakness because yuta counters that. We know of only a few of yutas cursed techniques, but I therorize that he has many in his arsenal. It just makes sense the Mahoraga would lose to yuta. In your defense, I think one of the only ways that Mahoraga wins is if yuta cant figure out that Mahoraga adapts. In that case, then Ill agree with you. Otherwise, I think yuta claps mahoraga. I'd say it would be medium to high diff.

It is true that sukuna did show us the way of defeating mahoraga and that's by having multiple technique to finish it off before it adapts to the other and in most honesty if we are sticking to the script of wat yuta shown in sendai colony against ryu and uro in that free for all.. Those technique he copied won't help him score a victory sir..
