I bought an epson 1400 that was clogged from sitting for 5 years. I tried everything short of pulling the print head. Finally after a lot of frustration I bought a product called Magic Bullet Print head solution. I ran 1ml of magic bullet through each color and let it sit for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes you push another 1ml through and BOOOM she was back up and running. Try Magic Bullet if you get a clog. Most epson printers are finicky. I killed off a $600 epson R3000. It would print awesome but always clog. If you can find yourself and epson 1400 I recommend that as I have been running that for well over a month. I’ve actually left it sit with the carts in it for a few days without printing. I just ran a head cleaning and I was good to go!
Is this printer good for just simple Heat Transfer Paper onto Tshirts ? Ive just pirchased this printer. I dont think i will be converting it to DTF though. It just seems to complicated with too many issues
Yep agree any printer that runs ink will be expensive to run and the printer will not last as long as a CMYK printer we run large format and our CMYK 60” runs and runs for years but running the same printer with either silver or white and it always takes more maintenance and parts replacement you will lean by experience we started 30 years ago so have had many many over the years but I would stay away from Epson we now only run Mimaki and Roland large format printers they are much more reliable long term you can’t run a business if your printers are down. Good video honey. 🥰
Hello sis, I'm in the same predicament with my l1800. I'm done with these desktop printers for dtf. I would suggest getting a dtg printers the does dtf. They having great success having the best of both worlds. The same ink that they use for dtg printers are the very same inks they use to make dtf. The two I would suggest are omniprint and epson f21oo. Good luck.

my sublimation 7210 printer be acting crazy like that it wouldn't take the sub paper.. did you try waiting to feed the film through like let the rollers roll first then feed it. im just now about to convert my xp 15000 lord pray for me lol
Great info, I converted a xp15000 for sublimation and I flashed the firmware to run chipless for refillable cartridges and was thinking about a cis but now I will stick to the refillable cartridges. I hope you were able to get a good DTF printer.
Try using the ink on your sublimation printer, people are doing that, they just aren't using white. Some others are replacing the black with white and running the film through twice
That’s what I’m looking for info on. If I can just use my et-15000 with my sublimation ink. If not I’ll just forego this for now until I can afford and have space for another printer
@@thatguyfromca I have to put a different type of ink in? I already use my ET-15000 for sublimation so it’s already Sublimation ink in there. I can print on DTF with that?
