Animal chiropractors are such gifts to the animal kingdom. I'm so thankful I found a local one for my family pets. ❤ God bless you for all that you do!!
Lion exudes calm wisdom and kind tolerance. He reminds me so much of my first horse; she made up for my teenager lack of experience. I could almost smell the scent of his face and feel of that velvet muzzle. Miss horses so much and this channel is a way to keep the memories fresh. Good stuff!
Just Dr Doug Willen creating minor miracles wherever he goes... Relieving stress and tension, muscle spasm and pain and more besides to humans and animals alike. Cheers Doug you're amazing and I just love you and your wonderful work ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
Lion is a GORGEOUS HORSE! I love his personality, and it's so wonderful to see Dr. Doug working his magic with these precious animals. I can tell Doc gets such an awesome spiritual boost from helping each and every one of his animal patients, and his love for them is what keeps me coming back for every single video without fail! Thanks, Dr. Doug!!!!
Lion is such a cool big guy. What a character. As always, thank you Dr. Doug for helping him feel better and to you and your team for sharing these moments with us. Huge respect to the rescue owners, employees and volunteers for taking care of these majestic creatures.
Such a beautiful horse 😍 (all horses are beautiful tbh) and with such nice character and response! That was a lovely session ❤ I believe that you're his friend now, dr, especially after the... gas release! 😁
So much going on in this video! I just can't get enough of it. The developing trust between you two, the connection you had. How exhausting this work must be with these huge, majestic animals. Her attention, her approval, her asking of you to continue working on her. Of course seeing your professionalism. I really appreciated the sweet lady's commitment of caring for the horses. Bless her heart! And also the curious fellow horses in the background and their reactions. (Okay, the doggo crossing the barn was interesting, as well. 😊)
Lion has to feel 1000 times better after all those cracks from head to toe! The butt scratches were a gigantic bonus!! I think that you have a beautiful white lion friend for life Dr. Willen. ❤❤❤❤
Such a wonderful horse. He is so expressive! Loved how you brought these actions out of him. ❤❤❤❤❤. The fingers in the mouth really are amazing to get a horse to relax his jaw.
Dr Willen, Lion is very beautiful ❤. He knew and felt that you were there to help him out. That was a great 👍 back rub and an awesome 👏 adjustment. You always make me laugh 😂 with your impersonations, thank you 🙏 for helping everyone. Have a nice week doc
It's been a while. Good to see you're still doing it. Guys like you make me want to check out a chiropractor to see if I'm missing something. The horse loved it.
Incredible to watch! Thank you for sharing your experience with this beautiful animal, animals. The other horses in the barn also attentively observe you and their barn mate. My heart flutters watching you at work with this beauty.
LOVE WATCHING YOU DR DOUGE.....REALLY ENJOY SEEING THE PUPPIES VOME TO YOUR OFFICE LIMPING OR NOT WALKING, TO WALK HOME.. LOVE YOUR WORK DARLING BOY.....BLESSINGS FROM GRANNY LINDA.....
Really enjoyable to see the long version Lion is beautiful and calm !!! I can see you've share a good moment together and that scratch was truly enjoyed 😉Well done Doug 👍💪😘
Lion is so lovely boy! I'm so happy that he looks so healthy and happy ❤ I know that jumping horses may have a bit higher % to the arthitidis on their front legs, but he looks fantastic (and is so friendly)😍 Thank you so much doc for checking this sweet boy
Lion got a great service. Nice massage and some huge cracks. Do you worry that the horse might chomp down on your fingers when you put them in his mouth?
I think the Animal Cracker probably has a healthy respect for and awareness of the risk. He doesn't ask permission for 'show'. He knows critters are sentient beings with autonomy, and showing respect and concern for that is the bare MINIMUM to ensure trust. He is clearly gifted at connecting with his clients. I'm deeply grateful for the gift of this kind of bonding with the critters, myself. This fellow is SO GOOD at what he does!!! Yes there is risk. But he's an excellent and intuitive healing partner!!! ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
No, there is no problem because horses have a natural reflex to avoid biting down on foreign objects in their mouths due to their evolutionary biology and dental anatomy. And mostly I put my finger into the Diastema area, it is the space or gap without teeth, between front and back teeth. But I wouldn’t do that with an aggressive horse.
Oh Lion, you lucky duck! Dr. Doug seems to be a wunnerful backside scratcher! I saw you practically lick your backbone, your neck was twisted so much. I’m glad you’re feeling better sweet boy. ✨💙✨ Dr. Willen after the first adjustments on his right side, you stepped up close to his head and he kind of bumped you with his nose?? It reminded me of my pups, when they want me to keep going with, petting, or brushing or whatever makes them happy lol. They give me a lite tap with their paws. Do you think that Lion was saying that with his nose bump? Wonderful watching you work with Lion today 🩷
I have seen a lot videos of chiros doing agressive adjustments on conditions when they don't have the full picture of what's going on. Do you agree that this is a problem in the chiropractic community? From what I understand of chiropractic treatment it only solves minor problems, like a massage, but is not a genuiene solution to most bone related problems; real surgery and physical therapy are required. Anyways, this is by no means an attack on your practice, just curious on your opinion since you have many years of experience. Thanks.
How did you learn to adjust animals in chiropractor school, or was it a totally different field of study all together? Interesting to see how you have to adjust them and their reactions.
In order to be an animal chiropractor in the USA, you have to first finish College, then attend either a chiropractic school, or a Veterinarian School, and finally study Animal Chiropractic. It's a long road. It took me 10 years all together for the list above.
@ thanks for sharing that Dr. That makes sense and explains how you know so much about animals. I have a lot of respect for Chiropractors, I don’t know what I would do without one as I go at least monthly, sometimes more. I think I go to get adjusted more in the summer because I struggle to drink enough water during the summer. Thank you for what you do. God bless you.
The horses behind him are saying Pick me Pick me next.....PLZ 😊 And this horse is so beautiful and love his reaction to everything.❤
Another fine adjustment. You work so hard physically to help these animals.
I try my best! 😅🙏🏻
Lion's reaction to your scratching was wonderful to see.
Yes he loved that!
What a fantastic horse. Just beautiful and so good natured.
Absolutely! 💯 so true!

Lion exudes calm wisdom and kind tolerance. He reminds me so much of my first horse; she made up for my teenager lack of experience. I could almost smell the scent of his face and feel of that velvet muzzle. Miss horses so much and this channel is a way to keep the memories fresh. Good stuff!

Also, there's no teeth right where doc's fingers are sitting.

Was not expecting the fart 😂

Any updates on Nugget??
I have heard Nugget is doing great.

🙏🏻❤️
Butt, butt, butt... Doc... Don't! Stop!!!
Hahaha!
Hi, does this also work on pet cats with arthritis in their back hind leg joints? Or one of them, at least.
I gotta cat that's 11 years old and is old now, and she has bad arthritis in her hind leg joints that cause her a whole lot of pain and agony.
There's Crimson watching again, right?
Looks like he wants to have a Drink and a Smoke 😂
LOL! 😂
