If I were a kid.....and saw this car on Halloween..... I'd be scared to death !!!! Especially if you were dressed like a ghost or something!!!!Lol..!!!
I had a 65 Ford Falcon van. Dog house hot as hell sometimes, no gas gauge, steering gear worn so there was about a foot of travel in the steering wheel, a few other minor issues. It had the tubular framed seats middle and rear and regular hinged doors all around. Loved it, it was a great machine and I wished I would not have gotten rid of it.
I think last fall you made a video talking about making flour for bread out of acorns. You were going to soak them to remove the tannins and grind them. DId you ever manage to make bread from them?
@@dowdawg I have been on the motorcycles all summer, and if I have something to haul I take the M37. I don't really have much need of a car, but it is more comfortable going down the road then the M37. The Chevy will cruise comfortably at sixty, while the Dodge gets hectic going over forty. Luckily I am never in much of a hurry.
@@metarznujane594 yes, but they are the vacuum design, this car also has a rare option of a windshield washer, the earliest I have seen on a car. The washer fluid is actually a glass quart jar mounted on the firewall, pumped by a vacuum unit activated by a push button on the dash. It also has another option rare for it's time, a backup light. The first purchaser must have told the dealer, "give me every option available", including the Fulton visor, fog lights, spot light, underseat heater, and full set of bumper guards. This was obviously somebody's baby when it rolled out of the dealership.
I love the joy in his voice at driving this dinosaur.
I love the simplicity!
Your joy is infectious. Thanks for that.
Few,will know such joy...
I’m putting my 54 to bed on the weekend. I drove her a lot this summer. Sitting behind that big steering wheel is my Time Machine to my happy place
thanks for taking us along!!! Outstanding ride Sir.
Good Evening ! Glad to see you out & about. TAKE CARE..

Very cool.
Haven’t seen the the M37 much lately either. I guess we’ll see both this winter.
I love the sound of old cars. And the longevity. Doubt we'll see any 2024 cars that still run in 2101.
Windex on that windshield
Just stumbled upon a chevy nomad.
'57 I believe.
Hope to purchase.
I'll send a pic.
Enjoy your stuff !
What a delight. I drive my 1963 Ford Falcon van daily and it's a delight as well. It's great to see your joy in the '47.

Old cars like that are a blast to look at. So giddy to see another of that year running at least even if not running well.
Such a beautiful ride.
Saw one of them for sale last spring. Had to get rid of something else first and missed out on it. Thanks for the ride.
Good to see you are still around
It's been cold here, it was 23°degrees this morning and they are calling for 70 on Thursday.
Man I love that car. I would trade my '77 Chevy Malibu for that in a second.

My first car was a 48 chev style master…good old car six cylinder six volt three on the tree tks for the video
That car seems to want to live. These old ones can go forever. Can't say the same for modern cars that are a literal money pit.
Gives new meaning to "That's why the lady is a tramp..."
Thanks for the ride
Great to see ya again
She's got good vibrations lol
Your ride gives me a flashback to Bonnie and Clyde.
I'll take a slow ride any day...thanks LC.
Love that car I would drive anything you have with pride 👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
I guy just having too much fun...... happy Halloween. Keep up the videos.
Nice ride!!
Happy Halloween Mark
That’s a cool old ride
Seems like it runs pretty good on five. I can hear that lack of sound to. But it still sounds pretty good. Have fun.
How is the VW bus coming along.
@@JeffB-wu3sl It's still resting, but I do intend to get the motor back in yet this fall, mostly because I want it off my workbench.
Hope to see and hear it run. I really like the old VW’s
Nice old car
You'll be needing snow tires on the old girl pretty soon.
I absolutely love a post war taxi car🎉
That car would work after a nuclear attack.
they have made all the new stuff way to complicated it was better back then i think

Sweet!😊
Love it
How do you handle road salt? I park all my classics and bikes all winter because of the damn salt!!!!
North Dakota don't use much salt outside of fargo
auto-mobile indeed
I wish.... I could put this body on my 2003 ford pick up frame. A little better mileage and parts are easy and cheaper.
Heck, I was thinking you drove that thing all the time
