In this video, Dr. Hickman performs an ultrasound-guided supraclavicular block providing post-op pain control for his patient who will undergo ulnar release and carpal tunnel surgery.
Too much manipulation I guess. Aim @ 2 injection sites
good video. thanks.
What probe are you using high or low frequency linear? ... do lots of these and thinking of purchase
Hi there. Dr. Hickman is using the L15HD3 high frequency linear scanner. Here's a link to provide you with all the info including specs clarius.com/scanners/l15/.
What is the drug and what is the volume?
0.5 % bupi or 2% lig+adre 20-30 ml
Is she sedated for this procedure ? Do you recommend sedation? I’ve had lots of nerve blocks and I’m unable to stand being awake for them. Currently dealing with pain management saying I’m unable to be sedated for this and I’m having really bad anxiety about this block.
its a mannequin

@@faustohernandezgonzalez7324 thats not a mannequin
We sedate our patients for these and I'd say she's definitely sedated because she keeps turning her head back towards him and dropping her hands when they let go it for her.
How did it go?
