I've found the only problem is that there is many versions of the base game you can get and not all mods work due to bad versions and you could buy these patreon mods and they will not work because you don't know what base game these modders are using because they only sell the mod and never hardly ever see a link to the base game they are using
insane reshade preset and mod folder dude. but 15 euros is too much for me for now but i'll consider it again in a week. also, on an unrelated note, does NFS:C support steering wheels like the logitech g29?

All of them mods are 100% compatible with the same version, the 1.4 (I believe it's the latest version of the game).

windows 7 is no longer supported even by steam... idk why you are still using it, just use light version of win 10 with some interface mods
