    I love seeing the struggle plants! Most of mine are struggles, so makes me feel at home 😂 I love the Parviflora, it reminds me of the Bella I have 😍 I'll have to look for one now 😊

      Parviflora is a easy going one! Much thicker leaves than Bella 🌱

    Thank you for sharing your Hoyas and where you have grown them. Can you make a video on each of the cabinets, tents and shelves and tell us what the humidity is and lights you use. You could show us, for example, each cabinet and the humidity in it, give us a look at the Hoyas in it, tell us about the lights used and what they are, and anything else you have added to that area, for each. Thank you

    This has been a great video. I love Hoyas. You have so many Hoyas I haven’t heard of before. So it makes me look them up to see if I can find them. I just need to check out of my cart with some Hoyas.

    I’m a Hoya addict and just love your Hoya collection. Now I have to find part one. My last count I have 436 types of Hoyas not including propagations or noid.

    • @planthappens
      @planthappens  4 месяца назад

      436! Must be a lot of work taking care of them and keeping track of the IDs! But I wish I had the space for all that Hoyas too ✨

      I keep a notebook with all the names. But some place’s don’t give the names of the ones I bought so I have to label them noid

    Your Hoya collection is so amazing, I wonder how you take care of all of them. I am feeling a bit of Hoya envy right now - I only have 8 varieties in my collection (with a few duplicates). How do you get your Krimson queen to hang - I have mine in a hanging basket but the vines keep vining upwards on the the plant hanger. Actually all my Hoya in hanging baskets do that. I have a Pubicalyx that has tightly and thickly wound itself on a hanging basket that I can never take it down - unless I cut it. It has totally taken over the basket (10 inch basket) in less that a year. I love it, but I would really like to have a hanging Hoya.
    This was such a nice video to watch - I like long Hoya videos. Thank you for sharing your beautiful plants with us.

      In my experience, almost all Hoyas prefer to climb rather than trail. They always grow leaves better when climbing. My Krimson Queen already had a lot of leaves when I got it and the seller told me it was growing on her curtain rails so it was climbing. I also get long leaf-less vines if I leave it trailing unless it finds another vine to grow on.

    You have gorgeous plants. I am super jealous of this collection, but I have no idea how anybody could stay on top of such a large collection, especially including cuttings 👀 I have roughly 50 to 60 plants in total and that's already a lot of work 👀

      Plant chore definitely becomes even more of a "chore" once you have too many plants 😂 But overall I still enjoy watering them and inspecting them. Finding new leaves and roots really give me the satisfaction. It does take quite a lot of time unfortunately.

    Love your hoya collections!! Where do you buy most of your hoya? Are they imports?

    • @planthappens
      @planthappens  Месяц назад

      I've imported some of my Hoyas but I find the process difficult and time consuming. I buy most of my Hoyas from local sellers now!

    Ok I just was browsing on Etsy and I saw an argentea princess for $1050.00. That’s a ridiculed price. There were two leaf cutting for $108 and the pricier one was about 10 leaves. Makes me wonder if it’s a slow grower. But I don’t know what would make it so pricey.

    • @planthappens
      @planthappens  4 месяца назад +1

      I would say they're definitely slow growing one. 2 leaves for $108 is very cheap compared to 2 years ago 😭
