It’s usually made with harissa not chopped chilli though, it gives it a completely different taste does harissa.

Omg!! That’s too much frying!! Very unhealthy!! Oven fry instead with little olive oil and you will get the same result..
Ummmm NO. Lebanese people have a very healthy diet. We can handle extra oil thanks.
