Ep:4 | Spice & Herbs of Sri Lanka | Temple Of The Tooth Relic

In this video, I'll be taking you on a journey away from the hustle and bustle of Hiriwadunna village to explore the fascinating world of spices and herbs at a place known as Issewera Spice Garden, located approximately 20-25 minutes away. Upon reaching Issewera Spice Garden, I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Vindo, a herbalist, who enlightened me about the wonders of herbs and spices. Believe me, I learned so much about our natural herbs and spices that I had absolutely no knowledge of before.
This was an entirely new and exciting experience for me, and it all unfolded as I ventured beyond my comfort zone. After exploring the Ayurvedic village, I set out for the sacred city of Kandy, which was about 83 kilometers away from Hiriwadunna. By the time I reached Kandy, it was already late in the evening, and I decided to visit a place of great significance among Buddhist devotees - the Temple of the Tooth Relic. This temple houses the sacred remains of Lord Buddha's tooth.
As I roamed around the Temple of the Tooth Relic, the night had already set in, and I made the decision to continue my exploration in Kandy, a city known for its cultural and religious importance. Once I reached my hotel, I took the time to explore my room and later enjoyed a delicious dinner. Stay tuned for more adventures in the next part of my journey!
