@@ThePiratesPortwhat I find riches in port royal would it belong to me?who legally owns port royal wealth today and what would be the estimated wealth?
First time at the channel. It's very nice, I hope you continue. The beginning can be very hard but if you keep going, it will become something truly great.
I chose to watch this vid because I know of Port Royal due to me playing Sid Meier's Pirates.. it would be neat to see a video on how much that game tried to stay close to the real history. Those videos tend to do quite well on RUclips if they involve video games.
Not sure why in Port Royal documentaries the British Yates family is not mentioned? I say that because my messed up bloodline need to be put on blast for what they did to Jamaica! Bless up Westmoreland 🇯🇲 from America 🇺🇸
If you are talking about Joseph Brooks Yates the reason he isn’t mentioned is because he wasn’t born until 1780, well after the golden age of piracy ended.
@@ThePiratesPort Never heard of him.... My grandfather's bloodline owned Port Royal... A man by the name of Ambrose Nicholas Yates owned it which he owned slaves as well... Also he married into the Beckford family which was a well know colonizers & I fell we are cousins to Tyson Beckford the model due to his father being a Beckford
Just discovered the channel and I’m absolutely loving it 🏴☠️

This was very well done. I've been watching Captain Blood (1935) and just wanted a little background on this place. Thanks!

Lord Almighty deliver us from evil. I lived there and my mind and body was falling apart...... demonic. Prayers Psalm 1-150🙏🇯🇲

Good video..I think it would be interesting to have a whole show on Captain Morgan and his life in Port Royal
Incredible video 😍📸
Great video, thanks!
And thanks, Texas!

That city really can't catch a break
"Life at sea!" 🌊
You can view "Port Royal" on the live cam on RUclips based across the harbor in Kingston.
Could you do a video on one of New England's more obscure pirates. Dixie Bull?
Cheers mate
In a pirate town you need a license for a pub?
PORT ROYAL! Cry of freedom on the sea!
Port Royal was attacked by The Black Pearl in the first Pirates of the Carribbean film.
I was wondering if you could do an episode that explains pirate clothing and if it has any symbolism to piracy
it would be hard because there are very accurate depictions of how they dressed. the contemporary images we have are not accurate.
How often are uploads?
i would love to have a set schedule but life often gets in the way
@@ThePiratesPort Thats fine, hope your doing alright
Whoever thought it was a good idea to rebuild the city when its location was that vulnerable to natural disasters must've been a true genius...
I thought this was only from pirates of the Caribbean
🇯🇲🏴☠️
Love to walk around there with a metal detector .
You can scuba dive over the site

Mind if Jamaica and Port Royal had survived, we would have had a Pirate nation or not? 😍
But Jamaica and Port Royal still exist.. 🇯🇲🏴☠️
Don't mess with God.
