I have said it before, this IS THE FUTURE of urban living. There is nothing comes close. Absolutely amazing in every aspect. Everything is so considered and with the aim of sustainability and community. And ''affordable'' to most. Thank you again for bringing to our attention Nightingale. The future for all to see and study.
Pretty sure they showed the only ground floor apartment which happens to be of the few with stairs (may be the only one) all the rest are accessible. The common stair is made so it is attractive to use as opposed to a standard fire stair, there is a lift as an alternative
Does anyone ever wonder how many of these lovely, sustainable homes could have been built for the same amount as was just poured into nuclear submarines?

We need a lot more of this!!!!!
This follows the model set in Singapore. Glad that Australians have learnt from their model.
Would like to know how much was accessibility taken into account? I saw a lot of stairs including within that flat, so not for disabled or old people?
