Hey there! Do you like Easter Eggs, Glitches, and Fun Facts in videogames like Terraria, Banjo-Kazooie, Super Smash Bros, and more? If so, then you've come to the right channel! I love finding and sharing small details in video games, which is why I create my Easter Egg videos. It gives me a greater appreciation for games I already love, and after watching them, perhaps you'll feel the same way.
▼ Here's information about the games featured in this video ▼
The epic story of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker continues as Link finds himself lost and alone in unknown seas in a new adventure. Featuring intuitive touch-screen controls and innovative puzzles, The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass offers new challenges for fans of the series and an easy-to-grasp introduction for gamers new to The Legend of Zelda. But time grows short, and only the Phantom Hourglass can buy Link the minutes he’ll need to survive.
The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks sets hero Link on a daring new adventure. The game provides players with a new story, more puzzles and even a new mode of transportation. In this game, Link voyages by train, which offers up new possibilities for problem-solving. The game has the same look and feel established in the hit Nintendo DS game The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass.

Yay I feel happy that phantom hourglass and spirit tracks get some love
Spirit Tracks was the original Hype Train :)
DPadGamer finally I've got my nice European version copy of spirit tracks
That's awesome!
Me too! They were tooooo short, but still beautiful. Platform limitations.
Mario Party 7 i love the music in spirit tracks, I would have no hate for it if it didn't have the tower of spirits
Spirit Tracks Zelda is one of the top tier Zeldas. Not only does she actually help you alot, she's got personality
I definitely agree.
Actully ZeldaMaster is the top tier Zelda
DPadGamer u can say me How u do to show the game in a best hd?
@@pikachupower0025 cant argue with facts
In Spirit Tracks, if you look out into the sea past Aboda Village, you can see two islands that look very similar to Mercay Island and Isle of Ember in the distance
Reference for this? I'm quite curious
Spirit Tracks is a beautiful gem of a game and I wish it got acknowledged more as a Zelda game.
I Have Nintendo Ds By My Brother
It's still a fun game to play
And I love the lokomo duets!!
Zelda's personality in ST made it worth it tho
I think you overlooked one, though it may just be a throwback: the mailman in Spirit Tracks. The first time you meet him, he says something about not reading letters aloud to the receiver.
If you wanna give an interesting easter egg about phantom hourglass :
If you skipp the heart container on the phantom ship
You'll get a letter from nintendo saying : We just watch and ... Didn't you forget something ?
You forgot the Easter egg for Spirit Tracks where if you play the Song of Healing while battling Byrne for the last time, he will pause the fight for a moment and say: "That song. . ." And the fight will continue on. I always enjoyed that one as a kid.
FINALLY SOMEONE HAS MADE A VIDEO ABOUT THESE TWO GAMESSS! You could have also mentioned some of these easter eggs too: Joynas looks like Jolene and may be her offspring, Bridge worker has a picture of the ship fixing man, Linebeck was replaced by Linebeck III and the original Linebeck shortly died before Link met III, Alfonzo was stated in Hyrule Historia to be the offspring of Gonzo. Also the mosaic we see in the ceremony room represents Tetra and Beedle the shop keeper appeared in both games, on a boat and on an air balloon. The healing fairy from ST looks like Ciela from PH, answering Zelda's last question has slightly different endings on the game, Tingle can be found for ex. At the ST trading post, Force Gems appeared in both games but were used differently. Also an Anouki in ST stated that "one day someone told them they couldn't live on the island and they decided to move to New Hyrule" which is a refrence to PH and how Anouki had to share the island with Yooks. Also in ST the characters share names related to trains; Anjean (engine), Gage (gauge), Steem (steam), Carben (carbon), Ferrus (ferrum=iron), Rael (rail), Cole (coal) etc.Idk if I should mention this but Anjean told Zelda that she knew Tetra very well, in Japanese version of ST it was said straightly that Tetra was Zelda's grandmother. Those were some of the little easter eggs I found mainly in ST :D
MangaxOtakuxAnimexMureke there's also a Tingle statue towards the back of Linbeck III's shop.
Yeah, the easter egg list is endless, like the Wayfarer's (? I don't remember it's name) fish picture also appears in one of Hyrule Castle's houses xD
MangaxOtakuxAnimexMureke Those train names.
MangaxOtakuxAnimexMureke I always thought that Jolene was in the game too, but maybe she’s dead too
i agree, there were so many more of those than what he showed:/ i can talk about ST as i'm replying it now, but even one of the Anouki says "Buy something will ya" in reverse at some point. or not sure if it's an easter egg or something else, but Ferrus has a picture of Alfonzo in his house:) and not to mention all the interesting things the phantoms say when you talk to them as Phantom Zelda, they can tell you about air conditioning, one misses its puppy, one is afraid of the dark or can't see without glasses, these can be such gems sometimes! And a girl in Papuchia says she'll be a movie star, because they apparently have cinematography in ST :)
Spirit Tracks was the game that got me into Zelda. It'll always have a special place in my heart :)
Linebeck is best husbando.
Phantom Hourglass is such an awesome game that along with its sequel dosen't get much love as it should. Now, Linebeck is a amazing character with the second best character development in the entire series, with first being Midna. He at first is a greedy coward that slowly changes throughout the game and while is still a bit of a chicken, he stabs Bellum and saves Link. That final boss with Bellumbeck was amazing with Bellum and Linebeck's themes combined to make the final battle even better. Phantom Hourglass also has some of the creepiest zelda characters in my opinion with them being the Diabolical Cubus Sisters, so creepy. I love Spirit Tracks, the mic got me mad quite a bit but as a lover of Legend of Zelda I just continued no matter what. Zelda as a companion was something I wasn't expecting and I love it so much since you don't just see her only a few times in the game, she's with you throughout the entire thing. I for one actually did like the train concept, because well I like trains and I think they're kinda cool. Thanks for this easter egg video for these games, glad to see them still loved!
what about the link impersonator who literally pretends to be the wind waker link and has a third rate king of red lions, called the Prince of red lions
was this in PH or ST?
Gregory Karastergios Phantom Hourglass!
Zack Awesomeness OOOOOHH yeah i remember that
Not only is it a third-rate King of Red Lions, but it has a fourth-rate (poop) deck!
Spirit tracks is my #1 favorite Zelda game I love the sound of the progression of a train putter (in music) and the aesthetic of Japanese temple traditions. And the mix of the spirit like music as well as the train like music is amazing (I grew up around music so that's a thing)
Phantom hourglass and spirit tracks were my my first Zelda games and everything, the music, the people, and just the game in general is so nostalgic
These games were damn near perfect.
HAHAHAHHAHAAHAHAHAhahahaha.... Funny
No actually pretty terrible.
Phantom Hourglass sucked.
שת בן־אברהם if they had been console releases, they would be of the best in the series, but the controls on the DS were hard to overlook for most
infinity JKA Spirit Tracks has to be my favourite Zelda game.
Spirit Tracks is one of my favorite games, its so underrated...
Apology accepted, but I want a full version.
In the cutscene where you meet Zelda, you can see a stain glass picture of Tetra
Paper Luigi yes I saw that
In the UK version of spirit tracks, aboda is called outset village, a reference to wind waker. The ocean king in phantom hourglass is similar to the windfish in link's awakening (sorta). In spirit tracks if you play the spirit pipes while you hold X, B, up on the dpad, or down on the dpad, you can change notes by a half note.
I almost got 999 hits but then I failed on like 997
i hope you try again 👍👍👍👍
i wish i can see a sequel of spirit tracks or an more longer end-cutscene
Does anyone replay the part where link start singing the chicken dance? XDDD
I definitely did. It was hilarious.
I did too
Chicken dance intensifies!!!
Phantom hourglass is awesome it's a great game I love it
have you played spirit tracks
toonlink101 I have
SPIRIT TRACKS IS THE BEST
Right before wind waker
Spirit Tracks and Wind Waker are my favorite games!
Stitches and Painters
same😄
When hitting Phantom Zelda in Spirit Tracks you can use the boomerang I think
True, and Bow works too.
These games made my childhood, but Wind Waker deserved better sequels
The Great Majora So true
Maybe Breath of the Wild is one, at least I really hope so :)
The Great Majora i love spirit tracks so much but you're right.
The Great Majora they were really good sequels, they just had to be made within the limitations of a DS. I think those sequels are really well made
Nope phantom hour glass is the best Zelda
You seriously only found 2 easter eggs in Phantom Hourglass? Geeze...
Henriko Magnifico Yeah ik 😔
It's been a while since I played either of these games.
If I remember correctly, there was a guy in Phantom Hourglass with red hair who (if I remember correctly) who somewhat resembled Ganondorf.
Heyo! I really appreciated this video, cause it gives spirit tracks some love! And yes, you actually did miss some Easter eggs in ST ('cause I haven't played PH yet!)
In the shop in hyrule town, you can find a little statue of tingle in the right corner of the bottom screen. The man in the shop does also actually look a bit like tingle.
Also, there's the pirates hideout on the ocean land, where you can find a mini game (the one where you shoot miniblins to save a goron), and after you clear it, you'll find some miniblins hanging out around some tables on the top screen if you walk into the cave without asking the Goron about the mini game before you go in.
On the same island, you can find the pirate ship that the miniblins used when they attacked you for the first time in the game, hired on the harbour.
There's also a theory that Anjean is Tetra! I mean! Look at her hair and the way she is acting!
Another theory, or more of a similarity between two characters is the happy salesman from MM and chancellor Cole. I mean, look at his eyes and his smirk. They also have the same hair colour.
The postman in this game looks similar to the one in PH but, this time, he walks, and makes sounds like a train.
Linebeck is linebeck the thirds grandfather.
Then, we have the ancient coin. If you look closely at it, you can see the triforce, and some references to other zelda games.
Then, the star fragment has the same look as the star it's from mario galaxy.
Also Ruto's crown. I don't really have to explain this one.
You can also buy the train that you drove to hyrule castle for the first time you drove in the game at linebeck's shop.
Sorry for the horrible grammar and thanks for reading!
Kayla Anjean was actually the first Tetra's grandmother.
this is really good so congratulations you got a subscriber
Awesome, thanks!
One box art with a PEGI rating and one with an ESRB rating. I noticed something was off, but couldn't figure what for a while.
Not a gripe, just an observation. Lovin these videos. Keep up the great work!
I wish maybe you had put at least a bit more effort into this video. These games really made my childhood and when I saw you made a vid on them I was really excited but I wish you gave them a bit more love. I even went and played Spirit Tracks today because of this vid and in the first 10 minutes I found some Easter eggs that were definitely worthy of being in this vid. ex: in the house you start in with Neko you can see a model of Tetra's Ship, and in castle town shop there is a model of tingle on the right. Plus, if you wanted to add more to this vid you could have added tips and tricks like what you did with Twilight Princess. I still love these vids and encourage more.
Popular Gaming fuck you too fucking bitch.
Popular Gaming why are you so angry? 😂 he just made a good point, if you played any of those games you can see that they're actually good but instead and you are all butthurt over here...
J Days seriously?
Dpad missed some stuff and he can’t give full love to these.
Hell ya!
3:03 for bird trivia
Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland was the first Zelda in the series to be released on DS. Not part of main canon, but still in the series. I suggest doing a video on it at some point, because you'll have a field day with all the references.
Huh... I didn't know that. Also, after looking that game up, I have a hard time believing its real. Its like Tingle found himself in a Wario-ware game. Ill definitely consider it, thanks for the suggestion!
There are actually four Tingle Zelda games. Over at ZeldaDungeon/ZeldaInformer we're working on a comprehensive list of every Zelda. It's a bit outdated, still bata, because lacking some of the newest games, but still very useful.

RareSeldas No, it is not part of the series, it is a spin off series, separate.
Heres some of my favorite ...
Phantom Hourglass
- If you don't get the heart countainer on the phantom ship ; you will receive a letter from the developping team itself asking you if you haven't forget something
Spirit Tracks
- Play music during Byrne Battle and he will react to it
By the way I tried this a lot of time , I only get it once ; don't really get how to activate it
Anyway , these game have some awsome details even after all these years ; I kinda wish for a remake to give them the attention they deserve !
Did anyone notice the Traveler's Ship in the North Western sea looks very similar to the King of Red Lions? It even has a lion on the front!
Awesome never knew these
In the bottom right corner of the ocean in spirit tracks there’s a dungeon which i think is in phantom hourglass too
The shield Nikko gives you for 10 stamps in ST is the same as the shield in PH
In Phantom Hourglass you can miss out on one of the heart pieces (the one you get from the 4 evil sisters). The dungeon where you get this heart piece becomes inaccessible after leaving it. However there is a failsafe for this, as you will get a letter from the devs giving you the missing heart piece
1:34 i'm done
Oh geez, didn't mean to ruffle your feathers.
Looks like you took the wrong context and not the funny context, i thought i made myself clear
I know you meant it in a funny context. I made a bird pun. Ya know, cause of the chicken dance :P
Welll this is 'Egg'stremly embarassing
+SirTangerine :D
These are my favorite Zelda games!
Spirit Tracks is my fav TLOZ game x3
forgot in spirit tracks..cuccos follows ya after the bird song is played. and they all are behind ya in line
I loved this game growing up
Glad Phantom Hourglass got some love
How did you have difficulties finding stuff to cover? There are like at least a dozen Wind Waker references in Phantom Hourglass and another dozen Phantom Hourglass references in Spirit Tracks. There are pictures of characters from the other games (with the most remarkable being the picture of Tetra in the cutscene in Hyrule Castle when Link meets Zelda for the first time in Spirit Tracks), descendants that look exactly the same and you can even find Linebeck's grave!
What about the captain linebeck cross over in both games and the brige maker who is also to be seen in both games
is it me or did whip remind anyone
of the rope snake from mother 3
There's an Easter egg in phantom hourglass you missed.
If you cheat to go into the temple of the sea King while linebeck is trapped, he'll tell you 'you aren't supposed to be here'
I haven't mailed crossing new leaf, and Pete sometimes mentions hedoesnt fly anymore because "too many kids shot him with slingshots" 0-0
The one MAJOR EASTER EGG he forgot is the boat in the northwest sea!
1:34 DOSE THIS LOOK LIKE A FACE OF MERCY
in spirit tracks in the trading post, there was a tingle statue on the table
Lost at Sea Station uses the Phantom Hourglass dungeon music
There is also the guy in the noth west sea that is dressed as Link and sailing a boat that looks like the king of red lions
good video!
Thanks :D!
i got to 999 hits in the training with a glitch. you have to position yourself next to the wall wear the "hanging racks are?" dont know what they are but the brown thing sticking out of th wall. it works because one guard is stuck next the brown thing and one is in front of you. im not completely sure how it works but it does
Those were the 2nd and 3rd Zelda game I've ever played XD
You missed the prince of the red lions ship in phantom hourglass which has the name of the travelers ship
wow how do you get phantom hourglass and spirit tracks to look that HD?
the mailman guy reminds me more of pit.
That might be who they were referencing with his design. Same sorta shoes, toga, wrist-thingies. Nice catch!
DPadGamer thx I love what u
do. U deserve more subscribers
Thanks :D
i'll totally subscribe, but not yet, you have 5555 subscribers and thats funny, i dont want to be the one to mess that up XD
You're right, thats a pretty cool number. However, on my end the # is actually at 5565. :P
1:10 and also a reference to tingle
Could have also mentioned the prince of red lions in PH
The link remix thing was funny.
this guy needs more attention
+PinkLucas 117782 Assuming "this guy" means me, "this guy" appreciates the compliment :)
THANK GOD I WASN'T THE ONLY ONE THAT WAS REMINDED OF FMA
In spirit tracks you can get the shield from phantom hourglass
Extra:you can attack zelda woth any wepon to get her angry, and you can run away until she cools down
#StopZeldaAbuseInSpiritTracks
Link with Whip:I'm gonna end this possesed suit of armor's career
funny Easter egg you missed in phantom hourglass is a pile of bones on one of the lower floors of the ocean temple is a developer regretting use touch controls for the game
You can find a tingle figure in the castle town shop
Spirit Tracks is probably the best way to end the whole Zelda timeline as a whole. The Zora go extinct in Spirit Tracks, and there's no ancient technology and they go further in the future and steps up with technology, such as trains. I still think it should be at the end of the timeline for a reason..
Spirit Tracks is underrated, its one of the best Zelda's on my opinion
I never knew about the title you get after 900 hits and I 99.99%ed the game.
Missing one heart container, the STUPID GORON AMBER and all cars locked behind it.. seriously. 2 years playing it and I never found one. Sadly I lost that cartridge and had to buy a new one. First collectible I got was the goron amber but omg I love the game. It holds a special place right next to twilight princess. the ds zeldas are seriously underrated and amazing with even better soundtracks. I'm very happy they're getting love.
1:30 for the hu hu ha ha hu ha hu
I played spirit tracks last week on Nintendo ds
Oh, he didn't point out the Tingle statue in Linebeck III's shop...
Wait, How do you control link in these games? As far as I know you need to use the touch screen to move link. Or is there a way to use the dpad to move him in both games, or no???
What how does the game quality look so gooooood
Zelda phantom hourglass, theres a ship at northeast sea thats makes a reference to ww
Why did they change the mail man
In twilight princess he was a boss to go through the fields of hyrule which where covers in bokublins
Okay, you could have sacrificed a baby to Ganondorf and that Link Chicken Dance would STILL have made it perfectly okay! LOL
In spirit tracks there is a tingle puppet in linelbeck shop, you forgot it!
I didn't forget that, I didn't even know about that! Thanks for letting me know :)
DPadGamer Ahahaha you're welcome!
How did you get the DS games to look so clear and pleasing to the eyes? They normally look very choppy.
My childhood right here 😍
SonicStalker123 I'm a kid
I found a picture from Tingle in the bar in the first ds Game
0:15 "Fam Hourglass"
I feel so bad for Zelda when whipping her
You missed the prince of the red lion, reference to king of the red lion in windwaker. And the cruise boat front which is a reference to titanic
Other than that I'm glad these games finally got some love
If you talk to the old guy at the beginning while wearing the knights outfit he'll say link looks like an old friend of his
did anyone noticed how the song in the chicken Easter egg part with the link memes was the chicken dance?
That was the goal :)
DPadGamer btw, "DOES THIS LOOK LIKE THE FACE OF MERCY?" LOL!
1:29 could some one make an a extendet vertion of this edit PLEAS
Oh the things I would do to get a remastered version of these two games on the switch...
Like I’m not gay or anything but if suckin dick is what it takes to give these games the love they deserve then you can find me on my knees in a back ally behind Nintendo headquarters...just saying
I honestly never attacked zelda in spirit tracks, because attacking her would be against the law.
I finished Phantom Hourglass!
Congratulations !
How Did You Make Spirit Tracks HDable
The men where wearing the same tonic as link
Ok,ive got one. After you finish Spirit Tracks during the credits theres an image of Link conversing with Linebeck III. In the corner of the picture is the little green fairy man from windwaker. I cant remember his name now... Twinkle something or other?
greer nelson Tingle :)
I've got phantom hourglass
