- These are one of those simple but extremely useful items that I had the urge to talk about. Velcro makes thin join-able cable ties that come in a 50 pack, but they work for a lot more that just wrapping up cables. In this video I talk in more detail about why I like them so much!

I used the Canon EOS M50, Viltrox 23mm f/1.4 and Boya BY-MM1 to make this video:

I found your well done video while checking out the next pack of grey/black for the background work in film I do. We bring our own wardrobe 95% of the time.
Wardrobe yes but I found the subway or self drive to set teaches one about grip and transport issues: After finding out the hard way, I offer the "traveler" the same tip.
To keep the thicker vinyl hangers from falling etc., within bag - take one or like you showed, connect two, and wrap one hanger hook around each bag's collection of hangers, then with a bike-pedal strap, wrap the three bags. Really, pull the bike pedal strap (you can) on the three bags before placing that tied trio on the duffle bag on the wheelie. The Velcro strap (2 of 3 connected) is too thin for that job. The hangers and the tied trio now act as one secure piece of luggage until needed. Wellgo straps are the ones: rubber-cap on the metal clasp. As good for grip: securing weighs on stands, etc.
Like me - for self-tape and full-length portrait, grey and black help fast ID on different coloured cords for ext. cords and securing gear. Well lit video with a sweet lens too ! Thx.
As David Parkins says, you can wrap them sticky side in to avoid them sticking to other fabrics. They will also catch on the sticky side of other straps if you have cables stored together in a bin. I combat this by rewrapping the coil sticky-side IN as soon as I open the package. That way they won't fight you when you go to use them. Not sure why Velcro doesn't have this as the default, as there's no good reason I can think of to have the sticky side out. Seems like a no-brainer to me.
Thanks for the video my hillbilly friend. I went to the Velcro video and it was useless; yours is what I needed. Thanks again. John 3:16
Glad the video was useful! ...hillbilly? 🤣

Wrap them "sticky" side in, not "sticky" side out if you don't like them sticking to your clothes!
