Worked there in 2003 - 2004 as a Events Steward (Porter). Greatest hotel in Scotland by far, on par with the very best hotels London has to offer. In the top 5 hotels in the UK. Lived in Glasgow, stayed in the staff accommodation. Travelled back and forth on my days off. Haven't been in the hotel for 10 - 15 years.

A former Hospitality manager at Ibrox Stadium in Glasgow I worked for through a agency in the 90's and was one of my bosses when I worked in Berkshire and few years later, helped me get my job at Gleneagles. He worked there for a number of years. Where was he from? The great city of Liverpool.
